Juan was amazing - showed... - Juan was amazing - showed us all the sights , was very knowledgeable about everything in Puerto Vallarta and took us to have the best meal we’ve had all this vacation. Would highly recommend !

Must take tour of Puerto Vallarta - A fun and exciting trip. Learned a great deal about the city and its surrounding areas. The guide was very helpful, enthusiastic and informative with all the sites he showed us.

Juan Pena was super! - A friend and I booked this tour for ourselves. At $140 each, we considered it a good deal. It would've been even better if we had gotten another couple to go with us, as it's a flat price for up to 6 people.
Juan Jose Pena (sorry, don't know how to do accents and tildes) was excellent. He was enthusiastic, helpful, and knowledgeable.
We stopped at the church, the malecon, some viewpoints, lunch, tequila distillery...The tequila distillery wasn't on the posted agenda, but as we were the only guests, we asked for one and Juan took us to one. It wasn't really their distillery location, more of a tasting room, but it had all the equipment and the host went through the distillation process.
Lunch was at Chico's, where we sat outside overlooking a beautiful small river and watched the water birds. The ceviche was good but not great, the quesadillas with poblano peppers were delicious (they ask what you'd like in them, we asked for cheese and poblanos), and the rest of the dishes we ordered were great. The portions are large, so under-order to start.
Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable day. Let Juan know Mary sent you!

Best idea for showing people the area! - Juan was a great tour guide! We have been coming to PV for 21 years a a had some family coming for the first time. We decided to book a tour for them (and us) to learn about the area. This turned out to be a great choice as we all learned a ton, didn’t have to worry about driving around and showing people different sites. Plus we learned a lot that we don’t know about the area. Juan was friendly, organized and spoke great English. One of our family members has Parkinson’s and he was very accommodating to drop us off and pick us up so she didn’t have to walk far. Lunch was a great spot where we had never been before! Would highly recommend any of Juans tours.

Wonderful tour - Fernando was a great 3rd generation tour guide who comes from a family of tour guides in Puerto Vallarta ( his grandfather was the very first tour guide in Puerto Vallarta and both his mom and dad were too).
He was prompt and very informative. He gave inside tips of what to do and what not to do while exploring his beautiful town.
He also drove carefully which was a plus since Puerto Vallarta had a lot of cobblestone streets that make it a bumpy ride to begin with.
If you ever go to Puero Vallarta, don’t hesitate to book this trip.
Fernando will also customize it to your desire since it is a private tour.

The Best Excursion guide - We had the BEST time with Juan! His knowledge of Puerto Vallarta was fantastic! It was like reading it out of the history book. The places we went to were amazing! The restaurant, Chico's Paradise was so good! We had lots of laughs and lots of fun! They need to clone Juan! I want him there when we go to Hawaii in March!

More city little rainforest - Good overall drive around Puerto Vallarta. Rainforest part was no more than a roadside restaurant stop near a stream. Nice outdoor restaurant, low prices, plenty of food, pleasant views.
