Fabulous time! - Great experience! Curiel was a wonderful guide and shared his extensive knowledge on the hike about the local wildlife and vegetation. Highly recommend this experience!

Beautiful hike and swim - Really nice hike and swim with Curiel! Would definitely recommend for those who like some fairly steep terrain, including some ropes/rappelling, with two gorgeous swimming holes as the reward. Good hiking shoes or boots are a must. Learned lots about the area and flora/fauna, encountered wildlife as well. Highly recommend!!

If you’re looking for a challenging and fun jungle adventure, this is it! - The hike with Curiel was the highlight of my week! He was right on time to pick me up, and was friendly and outgoing from the start. The hike was incredible. I definitely didn’t expect it to be as challenging as it was, but Curiel was very patient and helped guide me through the hard spots. The waterfalls at the end were beautiful and I got a chance to swim in the pools. It was honestly one of the best adventures I’ve had in the many times I’ve been to PV. Highly recommended!

A refreshing experience not to be missed. - I signed up for this experience because I love being amongst nature. I never imagined that I would be so blown away by the amazingly beautiful scenery, the guide's knowledge of the flora and fauna, his attentiveness and passion for the well-being of the environment. This is a thrilling adventure that must not be missed while in Puerto Vallarta.

Great hiking experience - Curiel was amazing, lots of fun to hike with and talk with. The hike was fun, some bouldering, scrambling, and repelling, a nice little adventure. Waterfalls were refreshing and peaceful as well! Highly recommend Curiel!

Great Hike for Moderately Experienced Hikers. Loved the views and the tourguide was excellent. - Curiel did an amazing job. He had lots of stories and really good info about the flora and fauna. He helped me because I was the weakest hiker. He gave good guidance throughout. I recommend this hike for moderately experienced hikers. I walk three to five miles five days a week, but only occasionally do mountains and I wasn't prepared for all of the hike. It was fun learning to use the ropes. The pool at the waterfall was beautiful and deep.

Great scenic hike with awesome guide. - Great hike with an awesome guide. Curiel was a helpful knowledgeable guy. He made the hike fun and interesting. One of the highlights of our stay in Puerta Vallarta.

HIGHLY recommend this tour - This is a difficult and technical hike, at 57 years old and no hiking experience I really wasn't sure I'd be able to do it but we were with a gentleman in our group who was 77 years old so I was inspired by him, however he is a very experienced hiker. The thing that made me most comfortable though was Curiel, our wonderful tour guide, he stepped me through all the hard parts, told me exactly where to place my feet and what to do. He is the kindest and most gentle person you ever want to meet, and his knowledge of the flora and fauna in this region is extensive. In the end, I was so proud of myself for finishing the entire hike. The waterfalls and overall scenery was beautiful.

The best personalized hike and tour - We were in such good capable hands with Curiel. I am not experienced with such technical hikes but felt completely at ease with Curiel’s guidance. We loved this tour so much and highly recommend.

Beware--Poor Customer Service - We were scheduled to hike with Curiel on 2/17/24 to Maria Pala. On 2/16 he cancelled our hike due to illness and offered either a reschedule or a refund. We were unable to reschedule so opted for a refund. Despite several email exchanges he never offered a refund and claimed my email was going into his spam folder! I finally obtained a refund by disputing the charge with my credit card. I would hesitate booking a hike with him due to his extremely poor customer service and lack of follow through.
