Mismaloya waterfalls and hike - Memorable experience with knowledgeable, friendly, funny snd phenomenal Curiel who made this hike the best no doubt!

CurielXperience is the BEST - Curiel is an amazingly knowledgeable guide. Not only does he know the best route, he has incredible knowledge about the native plants, birds, insects, etc. On top of all that he an amazing spirit and person. You will not be disappointed. I will say that this is a challenging hike and I would only suggest it for people who are extremely agile and strong hikers. Curiel offers many other options if this one is a little more than you want.

The Most Outdoor Fun I Had in Puerto Vallarata - Went on two hikes with Curiel, which turned out to be absolutely brilliant. He clearly takes so much pride and passion in his craft it is a joy to spend the day with him in the beautiful outdoors around PV. Could not recommend - he took such fantastic care and accommodated all skill levels I would full heartedly recommend it to everyone.

Amazing Hike / Breathtaking Waterfalls - Curiel does an amazing job guiding you through the beautiful hike through nature, pointing out creatures, plants, and even sampling fruit we found along the hike, which was delicious. Curiel was also very easy to be around making this Corrientes even better than I expected. I highly recommend any of Curiel’s hikes.

Great guide, stunning nature, powerful experience - This was a very special day during my trip to Puerto Vallarta. Curiel picked me up in his car in the morning right from my hostel. Right away I could tell he was going to be a fun and comfortable person to spend the day with. As someone with social anxiety, that's a big factor! He was so nice though and we hit it off right away. We drove to a small town where we had a nice breakfast to fuel up for the trek ahead. Then we made our way to the trail head through bumpy roads, thankfully his car can handle it! The trek was so beautiful, full of amazing lush flora that really took my breath away as someone who works in a botanic garden in the US. It was so cool to see these plants I know so well in their natural habitat, they're way more grand there! The hike was difficult, definitely need to be moderately active person. There are some parts where you have to hop from rock to rock, across rivers, and even use ropes to scale sheer uphill climbs. Curiel is definitely watching out for you though and will help you do if you believe in him and yourself. The waterfalls we saw were nothing short of magical. At the very final waterfall (which I don't know how tall it is, 200ft? breathtaking scale) we sat and had lunch in the sun while looking out onto it. After lunch we got to take a swim at the base of it. This was so perfect, it felt like I was in an alternate universe. The water was beautiful and the sound of the waterfall crashing down into the pool was so powerful. Since the area is so remote we were actually able to skinny dip, which only added to the freeing natural feeling! On the way back we drove past some great vistas where we stopped to take some landscape photos, there were horses and cows in the fields which we really nice to see, especially for a city dweller like me. We enjoyed a nice ride back to PV just chatting an chilling after a pretty tiring day. So very worth it, a must-do in PV!

Don’t miss these hikes! - This was my third hike with Curiel. They have been challenging but all incredible experiences! He is quite knowledgeable of local plants and animals and makes sure it is a fun experience for everyone.

Exceptional experience! - Curial Experience is the first thing I book when coming to Puerto Vallarta. His knowledge of the local flora and Fauna is exceptional. I call him a friend... He is exceptional at knowing how to lead and make sure you are taken care of. Curial is always making sure you are having fun and entertained as well as understanding local history, customs and has a knack for finding local fruit to taste on the path. He always has insect repellant and food, even if you forgot to bring your own lol. I suggest starting easy and work your way to longer adventures. Amazing, amazing, amazing! 5 stars all the way!!!
