Great show - Great show and well worth the money. Had a good time. Kind of like a Cirque show. Very entertaining.

Great performance - Incredible performances. Better than rhythms of the night (which is also not to be missed) and indoors at times cruise ship passengers can attend and no mosquitos...all in beautiful theater downtown. Gary and marsha

Surprised by the show! - Mayahuel is a show that I really recommend. The truth is I didn't expect that much and I was surprised. Congratulations to all the members of the show, it was magnificent. And the price is very affordable, I would definitely repeat it.

Highly recommend for everyone - I wasn't sure what to expect but I was certainly entertained. The performance is very professionally done and is worthy of Las Vegas or Cirque level. The costumes and sets were stunning.

Great performance - We were surprised how good the show was. Definitely better than anything we saw on the ship. Be careful with the tequila! Wait until after the show and make sure you get a deal!

Great time and bang for the bucks! - The show was great as they performed in a traditional Aztec folklore style. Easy to follow and keeps you entertain. Watch out for the fire girl as her performance will keep you on your toes. Also the tequila tasting will make you tipsy :p

Interested in local culture? - This is a good production, fuzing live performance, audio and video by trained and tallented actors and back stage crew. It reminded me of what Rhythms of the Night was back in the 90's. It is enjoyable to see productions based on local history and customs. The taquillia tasting was informative and interesting.

Don’t book this show through a cruise - The Mayahuel show was great. The dancers were awesome. But I wouldn’t see it through the cruise again because it is paired with lunch and tequila tasting. They also mention margaritas in the tour but basically that’s hanging out in a jewelry store being hounded by salesman and drinking Squirt (not joking) with tequila while waiting for the bus to pick you up to go to lunch. Everyone seemed to like the tacos. It’s traditional food, so for example, there’s no cheese. If you don’t like that kind of food, then you’re out of luck. If you want something to drink, then you’ll need to pay for that. It was served on an outdoor patio without AC so it got kind of toasty and we were packed in. The “tequila tasting” started with a man giving you tequila shots on the bus out of a bottle wrapped in plastic wrapping tape. The show like I said was awesome but the theater smelled like urine so it was hard to stay through the whole thing. It was all disappointing because the dancers worked really hard, and the rest of the tour fell flat completely. We were approached several times to buy something at the jewelry store and honestly it was over priced and then again at the Museum/entrance to the theater to buy very over priced tequila. There was also a tequila making class/video at the end of the show with more tequila tasting but I didn’t stay because the urine smell combined with the smoke machines started to make me nauseous. The rest of the family stayed and said they enjoyed it but all commented that the show was way too loud. I waited outside for it to end and get back on the bus. Only to have the tour director drink tequila with the passengers on the way back and tell us he was going to go to his second job as an Uber driver. Ummm OK. Hope that was a joke.

Poor service - We arrived at 1200 hours but our show didn't start until 1330 hours, since we were in the area shopping we wanted to see how far the theater was. We spoke to the hostess and she advised that the show was not at 1330 hours, but at 1400 hours. We came back at 1345 hours and she stated that there was a mix up with the start hours and that the show started at 1300 hours. Not only did we miss the show but charged me full amount. Piss poor service. The ho had my info email, cell etc. why not contact me when you found out there was a scheduling mistake?
