The hidden island 💖 - Getting to know Vallarta Bay and the hidden island was a very nice experience. I thank the agency for suggesting this tour, and for putting us in priority to get to know the hidden island. It's worth it, do it =)

Beauty of the islands - There were only about 40 of us on this trip, which was nice. Lots of activities, good food, good service. But 9 hours was too long. The ship very slowly went out and back, nearly 3 hours each way!!!

While the staff was very... - While the staff was very friendly, efficient, and professional the tour can benefit from a smaller head count.

2hr boat ride for 30min beach experience! - They do not tell you that it’s a 2hr ride each way. Open bar is only on the way back. You need to be proficient in swimming to snorkel or to swim from the boat to the small island. As the water is extremely choppy and the strong currents could easily slam you against the sharp rocks. You can not bring any hats, glasses, or water shoes into the water as they could end up in the water and contaminate the protected ocean/island. You’re also not allowed to put on sun block 30min prior to arriving to the island, otherwise they won’t let you do the “water activities”. Once you arrive to the island they dock you off the catamaran into a small boat and get you closer to shore, however you still have to swim quite a distance in very rough waters. And they only allow for you to be at the beach for about 30min. There is not much to do as you cannot bring anything with you and it is a deserted protected area. The “playa del amor” is only available Wednesday to Sunday. For this they will give you a helmet and you have to swim really close to the rocks on each side and above you, keep in mind that is your not able to swim in rough water you probably will get slammed around into sharp rocks. They offer a “nature tour” in which they load you in into a the small boat and take you around the island where you are told information and you could see two craters, the one in the picture and the entrance to “La playa del amor”. The scenery was beautiful, but i just wish we would have been told all these small details prior to booking this tour and I would have planed differently or maybe passed up on it and looked for a different option to experience the island.

Sub par - We were very disappointed in this experience. The boat was beyond shabby. The crew although very nice did not consistently accommodate for non Mexican speaking people. There were unknown fees to tour the Island. ( never revealed until you were on the boat moving!) The breakfast was adequate. The trip to the island was pleasant however the snorkeling time was ridiculously short (20 minutes max) Be prepared if you wish to go to the beach island as the swim from the small boat to the shoreline was long and difficult. When in the beautiful Island you were very limited to what you could do! The time spent was a maximum of 20 minutes! Both the main boat and the skiff were in poor conditions. The crew nickel and dimed us for EVERYTHING! snacks , raffle tickets, additional excursions, and of course tips! They were bold and wait until each person provided them a tip. I had prepared a $50 US tip and brought it down to $20! The trip back from the island was excruciatingly long. Too much forced fun! ( and bad booze) Although i enjoyed the island I was very disappointed in the experience. I realize I’m in a Mexican country but the ad said English speaking. The additional fees that I was aware of are not correct in web. It felt like the old bait and switch. Go with a more established proviď It was more for a local rather than an international client. Next time I’d book with a more established provider.

Awful! NEVER DO THIS TOUR - Awful. So bad. Never do this tour or anything with the company! The food was awful. Worst sea sickness of my life. The tour is well over 6 hours long. Don’t except to see anything special.
