Horseback ride. - We had a wonderful time. Javier was the best!!! Scenery beautiful, Javier very helpful with riding instructions, directions, and assistance when needed.

An enjoyable morning ride. - This was a fun thing to do. Pick up in PV was easy and we were driven out the ranch. A very professional operation. The horses we were matched with were well cared for and very obliging. Javier was our guide and he was very helpful and made the hack around the mountain paths interesting and enjoyable.

A very impressive, well-run, locally-owned operation - I think what impressed me the most is that this wonderful operation, which located on 10,000 acres according to our guide, is all locally owned, and that many of the people working there seem to be part owners. The scenery was beautiful, and the guides were excellent.

Amazing horse back riding opportunity in Puerta Vallarta! - Javier and the rest of the staff at Journey Vallarta Tours were fantastic! They were able to accommodate a very last minute booking and the small, intimate group that went horse back riding was ideal in that you were able to comfortably learn how to ride the horse, even if you were a beginner, yet still have the flexibility to really connect with the horse in deeply meaningful ways. I was able to speak in both Spanish and English with Javier who explained the amazing story of the family owned ranch and tour business as well as point at important ecological aspects of the incredible valley. I can’t wait to visit Puerta Vallarta again to do another tour with this company. ¡Estaba perfecto!

horseback riding for beginners and experts. - horseback riding in the mountains, up and down, through rivers, and trails. stopped at a waterfall to swim, refreshing, horses were good, guides were wonderful. lot sof other activities to do onsite. atvs, pools, ziplining, and more

Five Stars for me. - My guide Javier was awesome. I was the one boy person in the group and he made it a special occasion for my birthday.

Horseback fun - We had the most enjoyable horseback ride with our guide. It was only myself & my husband so we got a one on one tour. Our guide Javier was wonderful! We chit chatted the whole way and he showed us all the great views around the trail and told us about his family. It was such a joy to be able to spend time with him and learn more about his life and also ride the horses! ( my favorite part) I highly recommend taking this excursion !!!

Good family fun - The scenery was beautiful as we rode along through the mountains. I really appreciated the break midway for us and the horses. The horses were all gentle and the guides were patient and helpful with the children in our group.

Great - Javier was our guide and he was absolutely fantastic!! Next time we go I’m definitely requesting him! I’m sure everyone else there is awesome though! The whole vide at Canopy River was very welcoming and chill. P.S give Javier a raise!
