Paddling around in the ocean, watching the sun set and then the water start glowing like stars, amazing! - Shout out to the Paddle Zone staff in Puerto Vallarta, for helping me make some amazing memories with my love ones! I did the Bioluminescence tour twice because it was so cool! The staff really worked hard to make sure that we had a fun experience and never tried to sell us anything else. I was a little nervous about the kayaks but they were really stable, even when I leaned over the side of them. I would defiantly do this tour again!

Kayaking on the Pacific Ocean - Kevin took us out on a tour through Los Arcos in sea kayaks during the sunset. We kayaked through the caves, watched the sunset and swam with the bioluminescence. It was a very safe and fun tour. I would encourage you to try it out with your family and friends!

Wonderful evening my experience - We had a great time and Luis took such great care of us! He provided water and snacks, was very thoughtful of our safety, and checked in repeatedly to make sure we were having a good time. The bioluminescence snorkeling was so cool! We were tired from the kayaking but it was all worth it.

Sunset kayaking through bioluminescent waters - This was an absolutely fabulous tour! This was a small group excursion. Kevin was a wonderful guide, made sure we were all safe and well prepared for a sunset kayaking trip to Los Arcos. We kayaked through crashing waves, through caves in the los Arcos formations and stopped to watch the setting sun The bioluminescence was like seeing fireflies in the water; stars floating beneath the surface. Upon returning, there was hot chocolate, a variety of fruits, and Mexican wedding ring cookies for us around a bonfire. You do not have to be Superman to partake in this adventure, we’re 67 years old, and it was well worth the effort. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in an active and beautiful experience.

Perfect!! - Kevin is so awesome! This was more than a bioluminescence experience. It was magic with a surprise at every turn. An absolute MUST! They should honestly charge more for how much you get from this tour. They take all the photos for you and you get them for free. What!?

Magical Bioluminescence makes you feel like you’re in a Disney movie! - I’ve traveled to Puerto Rico to see the bioluminescence and this experience blows that one out of the water! The ocean was glowing so bright at night and the waves were fairly calm. This is really a magical experience! Something that can only be compared to a Disney movie.

Great experience - We did the sunset tour and it was fantastic! The tour guides were super friendly, knowledgeable and we felt very safe with them. Being out on the ocean in the dark is definitely a once in a lifetime experience.

An absolute must-do for bird lovers! - My husband and I had an absolutely excellent time on the sunset kayaking tour with Paddle Zone! Our guide Kevin was so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the nature and history of the area. We are big birdwatchers and Kevin was able to point out many different birds that make the marine preserve their home. (We saw our first blue-footed boobies!) He timed our paddle perfectly so that we came around one of the rock formations into an incredible view of the sunset. The colors were so vibrant and intense - it was breathtaking! We were able to paddle through some of the arches in the rock formation and the whole time we were out there, there were birds swooping all around us - so cool! To cap it all off, once the sun went down we paddled to the darkest park of the park and saw some amazing bioluminescence in the water! We even paddled through some of the arches in the dark to get a really excellent look at it. Once we arrived back on shore, the paddle zone team had set up a wonderful snack spread, including hot cocoa. They had the music going and it was a fun and intimate little party. Everyone who works at paddle zone is so incredibly nice! We had an absolutely amazing time!

Coolest thing we did in Mexico, hands down! - This was incredible! Felipe was a ton of fun and took great pictures of us too. Even though we had a nearly full moon out, there were still huge stretches where we could very clearly see the algae glowing. Jumping into the water and swimming in it was amazing. We got lucky both because the water was calm and because my wife and I were the only ones in the group. It was a bit tiring to row the kayak but not terribly difficult. We took plenty of breaks. I'm not a particularly strong person, but I'm 32 and moderately active.
