Highlights
  • Puerto Vallarta - Manzanillo 2292 - Welcome to our adventure to the Waterfalls, Jungle, and Mountain.

We will meet in the old center of Puerto Vallarta and take the urban transport direction south of the city, just as the locals do!

After a 15 min drive, we will get off the bus and start walking in the tropical forest. You will get to know lots of different plants, animals and learn about the river.

We will follow a rough path that changes depending on the amount of rain that has fallen and that crosses the river multiple times.

After one hour of hiking and some impressive views up in the mountains, we reach the first waterfall.
Here we can take pictures, rest a bit and have water and fruit.
Between the rocks, we have a refreshing swim with the fish in the small lake.

For the ones that are still not satisfied, we take another path up until the next set of waterfalls.

We end at a lookout high above the jungle with a spectacular view over the bay!

Jungle waterfall hike - The waterfall is an amazing destination. The water is wonderful and it makes a great swimming hole. The hike is not very long but it’s enough when it’s that hot. There’s a little cafe at the waterfall where you can sit and get drinks. They also maintain the area so it’s good to support them. Our guide, Alex, was friendly and upbeat and made sure to interact with everyone in the group. The bus ride from from PV to Boca de Tomatlan was hot but I was glad to see another side of the area. The water taxi to Quimixto was awesome. Highly recommend this tour!

Highly recommended! Friendly team - The walk with Matías was great. Due to the drought they changed the destination to another waterfall but it was very beautiful and they included a boat ride for us. The hike was intermediate level. Highly recommended!

A fun getaway to a beautiful waterfall. - If you are worried about booking this excursion, don’t be. Alex was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide who told us a lot of interesting facts about the local flora and fauna. Not only that, he was well-organized and made traveling to and from our destination a breeze. The waterfall at Quimixto was beautiful! And for those brave enough, there are opportunities for cliff jumping. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a small adventure to fill an afternoon.

Diego did a GREAT job - This was awesome! Diego helped guide us through the jungle and safely escorted us to the waterfall. A great tour and one I highly recommend, especially if you enjoy the beach tour.

Great way to get in some activity while away and to see more of the local area. - Alex did a great job of showing us the variety of trees and history of the region. Swimming in the waterfall pool was a great way to cool off after the hike!

Very good hike - I did three tours with them and it was amazing. The hike to the waterfall was intermediate level and I loved the pools at the end where we swam. The viewpoint at the end is the best. The guides are very attentive, highly recommended!

Great little hike - Lovely morning spent with Alex! Super friendly, super professional, and very knowledgeable. We didn’t find the hike to the falls strenuous at all, though you did have to watch your footing with the rocks. The swim at the waterfall was wonderfully refreshing!

Not the best experience - Not the best experience today with Isaac the tour guide. The tour says it's going to take 4 hours and we got back to our resort 7 hours later. Other people on the tour were also upset because of the extended time frame. The tour also says that snacks are included which they were not. It was also not really a hike it was walking on a walking on concrete paths and dirt. The waterfall swim was the best but you HAD to buy a drink in order to sit at the tables where the waterfall was.
