Highlights
  • Puerto Vallarta - Manzanillo 2292 - Welcome to our adventure to the Waterfalls, Jungle, and Mountain.

We will meet in the old center of Puerto Vallarta and take the urban transport direction south of the city, just as the locals do!

After a 15 min drive, we will get off the bus and start walking in the tropical forest. You will get to know lots of different plants, animals and learn about the river.

We will follow a rough path that changes depending on the amount of rain that has fallen and that crosses the river multiple times.

After one hour of hiking and some impressive views up in the mountains, we reach the first waterfall.
Here we can take pictures, rest a bit and have water and fruit.
Between the rocks, we have a refreshing swim with the fish in the small lake.

For the ones that are still not satisfied, we take another path up until the next set of waterfalls.

We end at a lookout high above the jungle with a spectacular view over the bay!

Fun morning trek! - Our guide, Alex was very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with the group. Alex greeted us outside the Oxxo and guided us onto the bus. This is a fun little hike! Bring quality hiking or closed-toe shoes as you will have to navigate over rocks frequently. Alex stopped the hike a couple times to point out some interesting attributes of some of the local chite trees and a tree bark that is used in digestive tea. A very reasonably priced morning adventure that we recommend as long as you aren’t limited physically! My 9 and 10 year old boys loved it and had no issues on the hike.

Excellent Hike to Waterfalls - We had an excellent experience with our tour guide Alex. It was a half-day adventure with a hike that ends at a beautiful waterfall/mini lake to swim in. The hike is very rocky though - bring hiking shoes!

Great hike and swim in PV! - Excellent hike and swim. Glad Guillermo and Eric combined our groups as they were both great. They had excellent knowledge of the trees, fruits, and fauna. We had plenty of time to enjoy the water holes we swam in. Met some great people as well. Very enjoyable and worth the cost.

Our tour guides were... - Our tour guides were amazing but especially Erik, who helped me cliff jump into the water where my Apple Watch fell off. Erik had found it in the sand and saved the day! Rough terrain so make sure you have grippy shoes. 10/10 experience and would do again. Everyone in the group was amazing.

Great hike! The second... - Great hike! The second waterfall is a bit trickier of a hike so be careful. The first is great! It was a little overcrowded which made it difficult to attempt a swim. Beautiful scenery however.

Fun but very dangerous - Listen the tour was great. HOWEVER. even if you choose not to climb the rock wall at the first waterfall. You still end up climbing a mountain up about 700 feet. There should be a high risk for death warning when booking as 3 of us almost fell off the cliff and only had a rope to save our lives. With that being said it was worth the thrill and we felt accomplished after the challenge, but it was WILD

Nice but unnecessary - Our guides were very excellent and nice. However this experience did not provide much considering that you can just go to this short hike yourself. Much of it is near an active construction site. It ran longer than it was supposed to which also made us late.
