Great experience - My husband and I had the pleasure of taking a half day tour of El Yunque Rainforest. Diana (our tour guide), was absolutely wonderful, as she directed us and explained all about the rainforest. She was patient and kind, answering many questions in regard to not only the rainforest itself, but also of the many local attractions we could possibly visit during our stay in San Juan. She was extremely knowledgeable about the island! She made our tour exceed our expectations. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Juan!

Fantastic guide -Luis - We took the four hour tour of the rainforest. It was a cloudy day and rainy. Our tour guy Luis was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He pointed out different species in the rainforest that we never would have seen if we were going on our own. He stopped at other points of interest, and gave us a detailed history of Puerto Rico. It was fascinating hearing about the people of Puerto Rico, and some of their customs. Ask for Luis when you take the tour!

Fun time out of the city - Great respite away from town to see the only rainforest in the Americas. Our guide, Juan, was very lively & entertaining & it was nice to tour with a smaller group. Highly recommended!

Great for Families with kids of all ages! - We had a group of 9 two families with a couple little kids. Frankie our guide picked us up filled us with lots of great information on the way. Went to the river to rope swing, cliff jumping, short hike, waterfall and Yokahu Tower for an amazing view! Grabbed a snack before heading back. We greatly appreciate Frankie!

Rain Forest tour - Shalomir and Luis are the best tour guides there are! Luis takes his time to share his knowledge of the island, rainforest and Puerto Rican culture. He is kind, patient, and always open to questions about Puerto Rico. He’s very good at spotting animals, insects, and flora and fauna throughout the tour. His is passionate about what he does and genuinely wants to share information and make a great experience for you.

Best waterfall tour in PR. - Luis and his team was amazing. They were very helpful and made sure we were safe. The waterfall was beautiful and Luis and his team taught us about the vegetation and local wild life. On the way home, we received a full history of Puerto Rico…great tour!!!!

Highly recommend if you want to see a little of the country side! - The rainforest tour was a lot of fun. We had a pretty fun group and our tour guides were fun as well. Juan and Luis were down to earth and funny. We laughed a lot. They informed us quite a bit about the rainforest and Puerto Rico. I was running a minute behind but they waited and didn’t seem to mind. Give yourself a few extra minutes, driving around Puerto Rico can be a little challenging sometimes. The drive out was between 30-40 minutes, but Juan filled us in on a lot about Puerto Rico along the way while Luis showed us on a map where he was talking about. When we arrived, we were told we couldn’t bring a lot on the hike with us so I left my backpack behind in the van. We didn’t need a lot. While we hiked out to the river, Juan and Luis informed us about the rainforest and the animals and plants that inhabit it. Upon reaching the river, we were told we could go swimming but the water was cold. And they weren’t kidding. Most of our group opted to stay dry but a few of us got in. It was cold at first but very refreshing and crystal clear. There were quite a few fish that did not seem like they minded sharing the water with you. After swimming, we headed back to the van and headed back to San Juan. Along the way we stopped at spot that had a beautiful scenic area, where they explained to us exactly what we were seeing. Then, we stopped at a nice souvenir shop that was ran by a nice man (I don’t remember his name) but his son ran the food side of it, so we could all have a bite to eat. I had a chicken kabob and it was delicious. After eating and hanging out, we headed back to San Juan right on time. I’d really like to thank Juan for his humor and impressive driving skills, and the information he shared with us. Luis was very funny and also full of wisdom. The two of them made a very enjoyable experience for our group.
