Additional Information

Witnessing animals in their wild habitat is an unparalleled experience, and undoubtedly, observing dolphins and whales up close ranks among the most astonishing. There may be instances when only a handful are visible, while other times, their numbers could reach thousands, but the fascination remains the same.

With our tours, you get the opportunity to feast your eyes on creatures ranging from the petite common dolphin to the colossal blue whale - the largest living animal to ever exist. Moreover, you also stand a chance to spot turtles, flying fish, and other aquatic life forms.

Not only does this experience let you admire the picturesque coastline from a different vantage point, but you also have the option to dive into the azure setting for a swim, if you are so inclined.

Location
C. Puerto Base, 28
Calle Puerto Base
We are in the Puerto Base (left port in Puerto Rico facing the sea). You can reach both the GC 500 road and the GC 1 motorway. When you reach the entrance of the port (which is also a parking lot) you just have to go straight for about 90 meters to reach the "Spirit of the Sea"

Worth it! - It was fun, Definitely worth doing once. Friendly staff, information is provided in many languages, including Dutch. They saw plastic lying around, the boat was turned and it was fished out. And also saw dolphins!

Fantastic - Very special experience to see dolphins in the wild. One literally swam in front of the boat. It was a small group of dolphins but still. Didn't see a whale, but that chance is small. The boat ride was also fun until I got a little seasick. Finally I was able to take a dip in the sea from the boat. Don't forget to bring a towel.

Unforgettable experience well worth the price - Amazing experience. We saw several groups of dolphins. Seeing them up close from below deck through the glass was insane. Be prepared for some waves and chilly wind.

Informative and fun experience - Fun and great experience with lots of potential to see marine animals in their natural habitat. We were super lucky to see two different species of dolphins and a large whale! We are very satisfied with the trip and can recommend it

Almost more dolphins than passengers 😊 - We saw a large group of Risso's dolphins. The crew was very friendly and entertaining. The sea was calm and the weather was great. There were drinks and you could swim. They even collected rubbish from the sea to protect the animals. Thank you for a great experience!

Happy dolphins! - Very nice experience! It was beautiful to see so many Dolphins in the wild swimming in their natural habitat. We were blessed with good weather and lots of dolphins. However the seas are a bit choppy and not meant for someone with motion or. Sea sickness.

Brilliant - saw lots of dolphins - Great experience, finally got to see dolphins in their natural habitat. The sea was quite choppy tho. Staff were great and the captain made sure he stayed near the dolphins for us all to see them for as long as possible. It was a great 2 hour trip, would highly recommend. Thank you

Nice trip but no luck. - We went in the morning at 10 am. The trip was super well organised and the crew itself very friendly. They did there best to show us whales or dolphins. Unfortunately we didn’t see any animals. We would recommend to bring a long shirt as it was sometimes very windy/cold. In the end we got a voucher to go again another day. However you can’t force nature so things like that just happen.

Very Uninformative trip - My partner and I decided to go on this trip. The staff were very friendly and helpful the whole duration, can’t fault them at all! However we felt very mislead and wish we had been warned previously about potential motion sickness. From previous experiences, I have never suffered with motion sickness but this boat trip made me feel so ill. I could not move due to how sick I felt. This is due to the choppy waves as the boat is quite slow (due to the staff trying to spot the dolphins) therefore the boat was rocking so much. People were throwing up everywhere, kids were crying, many people were sea sick. We had to deal with this for 3 hours with no break. When the boat stopped to view the dolphins the boat was so rocked about it was awful to experience. Even though the trip itself may be enjoyable to some and the staff were excellent, I just want to warn others who suffer with sickness to think this trip through as I wish I had!!
