Please Read if You Have 9 Year Old Children or Less and If You Are an Adult Who Cannot Swim - The guides, helpers and photographers were good. For adults who can swim and are not afraid of going under water, this is an amazing tour. We traveled with my wife, who cannot swim, and my daughter who can swim, but does not like wearing a helmet and life jacket. My daughter is 9 years old and is 4’8”. This was extremely challenging for my daughter and my wife made it through okay. There are 2 points that make me write this review in a critical manner. The points where everyone, no matter what, have to do the slides down rocky waterfalls and get submerged when they hit the water. You have to go one-at-a-time, even children. The guides did their best, but the force of the water and the nature of the slides in the two points was such that it was traumatic for my daughter. I think the age limit should be 11 years old. There is really no turning back once you are on the way down and you all have to go down the rocky slides into the gushing water. If you are an adult and can swim, I can imagine this to be a lot of fun and adventure. Also, please not the way up to the water falls is 35 minutes of hiking. Then you come down with the water path and natural water slides. There are wooden steps that help for people not wanting to jump or slide down the rocks. They had a lot of rain in the days leading up to our adventure, maybe that is why the water was so rough. Again, there are 2 points where there are no wooden steps and you have to go down the rocky water slide. Also, when going down the slides, you have to lie down and keep your elbows crossed and tucked in so that they do not hit the rocks. The guides and leaders did their best to help, and I am not taking away anything from that. It’s just the nature of this excursion. We also did the buggy ride and that was cool for my wife and daughter. They really enjoyed it. You could choose not to get dirty by avoiding the muddy water. I want to sincerely thank the guides and leaders and am putting this review to inform others.
