Commence your journey on a rocky trail through the dense jungle, making your way to the beach. Experience the thrill of trotting along the sandy shores, with ocean waves lapping at your horse’s feet. Pause for a photo opportunity against the stunning backdrop of the turquoise sea, before continuing on to a beach bar at Bergantin for a short respite and the chance to purchase keepsakes (or beverages not included in the tour).
Given suitable ocean and stream conditions, you’ll have an exciting opportunity to swim with the horses - a truly unique experience. However, it is important to remember that weather conditions, such as strong waves and currents, can occasionally render this activity unfeasible. Your safety is always our priority.

Horseback Riding On The Beach - What an awesome experience horseback riding on the beach and the wood trail. The beautiful horses are well trained and you can tell Ramone and the others love them. Would absolutely do it again.

Five star sunset ride! - This was one of the best excursions I have been on. The horses are very well taken care of and the guides are knowledgeable and very friendly.
The sunset beach views are amazing and it was an awesome experience to ride bareback in the ocean. This would be my #1 recommendation for anyone traveling in the Puerto Plata area!

Exceptional! - For the very first time ever riding a horse, I had an exceptional experience. Alex and Ramon made us feel comfortable riding and assured us from the start. The horses we rode, Mauricio and Paulito were so adorable and easy to ride. It seems they they had a little friendly competition going on ;) I will never forget my experience here...amazing memories!

Great experience! - This was, by far, our best horseback riding experience. Driver picked us up right on time at our hotel and took us to the meeting place. The horses were very well taken care of and the guides were great. We are not beginner riders and didn’t just want a slow walk. We had a nice healthy pace. Riding the horses on the beach was incredible. Our guides stopped to take our pictures several times. There was a nice break in the middle where there was a bathroom and bottled water to drink. Well worth the money for a nice experience that lasted the right amount of time.

Great Experience! - Angel and Roman were great guides that catered to our level of experience with horses. We really enjoyed swimming with the horses and riding them in the water as well as riding along the beach. All around an incredible experience!

100% recomendable - We did the horse riding sunset tour and it was really awesome! First they pick you up and bring you to the starting point where the horses are waiting. The horse riding is really chilled through a wonderful nature and beside the beach! In the end you can gallop along the beach and partly in the water what was great fun :) After that you can swim with the horses if you want!
It was a really nice adventure and we loved it! Further they really care about their horses - they looked well fed and they are super nice! 100% recomendable!!

Vacation Fun - We are novice horse back riders and had a great time. The horses were gentle , my horses name was Troy. Our guides we're knowledgeable about the plant life around and they handled the horses well. We took the horses in the ocean and had a great time, but it's hard on your tailbone riding bareback.

A Nightmare from Start 2 Finish! - You have to find your own transportation to the “ranch” which was a pure nightmare. The “ranch” is like a biting fly infested Ethiopian village full of malnourished horses that are leased from the town’s people and “handled” by the hungriest looking poor little children I’ve ever seen. My children thought we’d traveled to some horrible 4th world Cambodian village where they have no food & no water. It was just a huge, dark muddy lot w/filthy animals & filthy people. One of my daughters cried to leave! In the midst of all of this nightmare is this one nice lady named Sylvie- but she didn’t give us the option to cancel our ride. So, we went and it was awful. I was going to tell her when we got back but she was gone. She did make sure we got back to our ship though! I was grateful for that.
