We’ll tour a cigar factory and an amber and larimar museum where you’ll have the chance to purchase a souvenir if you so desire. Come across the umbrella-strewn street and the famed pink street dedicated to Doña Blanca, along with a visit to central park encircled by the renowned Victorian homes and the San Felipe Cathedral founded in 1502.

Private tour brings charm of Puerto Plata to life - Roberto was our tour guide and treated us like family. We shared a wish list of places to visit and he managed to bring us to all of them seamlessly really bringing the charm of Puerto Plata to life for our group of 8 (4 adults and 4 teens). I would highly recommend this tour because it is so much more practical (costs far less than the cruise ship tour) and much more personal (we focused on what we wanted to see). We always felt safe with Roberto which is especially important when traveling with kids. Thanks Roberto!

Nice family outing! - We booked this private outing last minute, the day before for the next day. The driver in the morning was punctual and very friendly. The car is really great and comfortable. We met our guide in town, very kind and helpful. We had asked for a French-speaking guide, but he only spoke a little. We did a little French and English.
The tour takes you through the most famous corners of Puerto Plata. It’s reassuring to have a place with you because the Dominicans are quite insistent in selling you all kinds of things. The only negative is that we ran out of time for the cable car. Our last driver for the return trip was also very nice. This tour is worth it if you want to visit a little with peace of mind!

Great tour of Puerto Plata - Excellent tour of Puerto Plata. Visited a rum factory, explored the downtown square, and got some great views from the mountains just outside of the city. Roberto was an excellent guide and made sure it went the way we wanted it to.
