Beautiful day in Puerta Plata - We had a great day touring Puerta Plata with Yeuri!! He showed us his home and the beautiful parts of it in our tour.

Awesome personality - Aribel was an amazing driver. Very kind and respectful. He took us on an amazing rum tour and chocolate tasting tour. He even took us to the beach which wasn’t included in the tour. Amazing person must book with him!!!

All the sights! - It was a very good tour where we were able to see all the highlights of Puerto Plata. Our guide was great. He was super knowledgeable and made the tour a really fun time. Also took photos for us!

Puerto plata tour - Julio picked us at Taxi stand as we were instructed to do. Thought we would have a language barrier , but was able to communicate ( little English /Spanish) Had the full tour and enjoyed same. Julio took time to explain to us about the culture , even got extra to our tour

Fabulous tour of unexpected Puerto plata port stop! - Due to high winds and heavy rain forecast our cruise port stop for Turk & Caicos got changed to Amber Cove! Disappointed but we were not disappointed having never been to Puerto Plata! We arrived to unpredictable weather so went to where all the tour busses were under the shelter to find the “ lime green shirts” ! For $20 each (9 of us) in an AC van off we went from 10-130 when the rain finished our tour! Our gentleman was so informed about the history, agriculture of the farms, trees, samples of berries! Maimox rum factory for a tour & tasting & Choc factory. We then went through the main downtown area to see the pink alley, Umbrella St. jewelry stores. Our plan was to try local cusine for lunch but Mother Nature had another plan! He drove us to the fancy homes before taking us back to port in Amber Cove!

Definately work the $$ - We just used them in April. It was $70 for the day for two of us. The tour guide stays with you the whole time. We told him where we wanted to go and he took us there. He parked by a souvenir shop and walked us through it- figure they get a kickback or something. Then he took us to the places we wanted to see- Umbrella Street, Pink Street, the fort, and Central Park. While walking through pink street, there was a lady with a monkey and for $5, she let us hold him and she took our pictures. The guide took pictures for us as well. Spoke a little English, not a ton but could understand it. At the end, we wanted to go to the beach. Again, took us to a restaurant there. People sold souvenirs there too and got my hair braded. The had beach chairs there and we did not pay anything for them- not sure if someone had paid earlier and they were just left there. When we were done, he took us back to the port. Really enjoyed it and would recommend it if you want to do your own thing and go at your own pace.

So before we even made it... - So before we even made it to the amber cove port , the company was excellent with communicating with us the details about where to meet, asking us about what we wanted to see, and preparing us for what the tour would look like the day of! We were a family of 6 adults and 1 child, with all different “tour operators” they Accommodated us all to where we could be together ! Our tour guide (Aribel )was amazing to us all and especially with children (my son) . Aribel told us from the very beginning he was not only our guide and driver but also, our protection, paparazzi, and educator and he excelled all of our expectations and made the tour one we will never forget ! 10/10 def recommend this company and our tour operator/ friend Aribel ! (Pronounced O-lly -iVa)

Book this excursion and ask for Aribel!!!! - Aribel was very knowledgeable and personable. He made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He went over and above! We loved everything about this tour. He took us to the Rum Distillery and Chocolate Shop, then to a cigar shop where we made our own cigar. Then we visited the church and fort.

Compare this to other town tours, price is good and tour was good - I would recommend this tour as an alternate to a overpriced cruise ship excursion. Great response and knowledge from the Guide.
