Cliff jumping in the coolest of places!! - Cliff jumping at its' best!!! Monkey, Big Sexy Papi & their team were the best guides!! Monkey took us threw the trails and caught all jumping/sliding on film for us! He was an awesome tour guide!! We had 11 in our group that we traveled with ranging from age 13yrs to 65yrs...the water was cold (as expected) but what a rush and thrill the jumps (and slides) were!!! Highly recommend this excursion for others! Scenery was absolutely amazing!!!

Best excursion we've done in the Caribbean! - You have to do this excursion if you are in the Dominican. Our tour guides and our photographer were extremely nice and did an amazing job! They took care of us and even took us to a few other stops on the way back to the ship so we could see the Umbrella Road and Pink Street. We had an amazing time! Thank you!

Great Family excursion - We had a wonderful time from start to finish with this family run operation. Elizabeth was excellent and coordinating our experience. They gave accurate information on exactly how to find them when we exited our cruise ship, were very very courteous, and it was a private excursion to see the waterfalls on an air-conditioned shuttle with Wi-Fi. We were able to leave our items in the shuttle securely while we hiked. It was a tremendous value compared to the excursion offered on the cruise ship, and they took us to local restaurant and cigar /souvenir shop away from the crowds, which was much more personal, and we had an excellent experience. They were very helpful and spoke English well, took fantastic pictures and videos that they shared with us for $10 a person at the end of the excursion. The food at the restaurant was authentic and very flavorful chicken, pork, salad, bread, spaghetti, sodas and waters. The restaurant had plenty of space to use bathrooms and changing rooms after hiking waterfalls. We were there with two families and young adults, and it was the most memorable excursion of the trip as we were able to jump off of two waterfalls and slide down three. It was very safe as we were all had helmets and lifejackets. The water was extremely refreshing after the 45 minute hike up the mountain, which was a bit strenuous, however, water was provided, and multiple stops were made along the way to rest.

Memorable - Was a great time. Don’t let the 45 min hike deter you from this adventure. The guides stop every 10 minutes for people to rest. The experience is amazing

Fun non cruise excursion for physically fit people - They communicated and picked us up outside the port. They had cold drinks, took us to a chocolate factory and got mangos for my kids. Waterfalls were beautiful and water was refreshing. Don’t recommend for kids under 10.

Wear GOOD shoes and must be in GOOD physical shape! If you are, DOOO IT!! So fun! - INCREDIBLE! First thing first though...it is a strenuous workout. We almost lost a few along the way UP the mountain. It is a 4-5 mile hike total, lots of it being up muddy steps, rocky grounds, steep areas. Wear GOOD water shoes (not the cheap pairs). If you are not in shape, you may want to reconsider. Now in saying that, if you are up for it....DOOOO IT!!! Was so fun! The company DSSR was professional and great! Mara and the driver were very welcoming and kind. The "Shooter" (camera man) Anthony was fantastic! Had a glitch with his camera but quickly made it right and connected with another camera man and together they still got the photos/videos coverage:) The video/pics cost $45 and they email it all within a few days. It turned out great! I was going to take my GoPro but I wanted to just enjoy it and left that to the professionals. I'm glad I did. Another lady lost her GoPro as it fell off her helmet😬. After the waterfalls we stopped at a small restaurant and had some authentic home Dominican cooking. Then stopped at a shop where they made cigars and other handcrafted gifts. Bring some cash! Thank you all for one of the best excursions I have experienced! ❤️

First time to Puerta Plata - What a great tour! "W" was an amazing guide. He provided nonstop country history, including plant and wildlife. The jumping and sliding iver waterfalls was also beautiful and so much fun. If you book this type of tour through a cruiseline, you wont be able to jump off the falls. Had a great lunch.

Perfect family adventure - I couldn’t believe how smooth this excursion was. This was the first time we booked off of the cruise ship. It was flawless. Pick and drop off were smooth. We had time for souvenirs. They took us to a small plantation even on the way home. Werbe and Jose were very kind and helpful. We had a lot of fun with them. We had ages from 8 to 76. And we all had a great time. The hike was slick and steep at times but there were handrails the whole way. Great choice if you want a little adventure but still in safe environment.

Too many people and long lineup - The Damajaqua falls themselves are interesting little natural place to see. In itself with no crowd or would take about an hour, half hour walking up and half hour going through it. However the number of people that is being allowed through is so large that the whole thing becomes 2.5 to 3 hours ordeal. We had to wait in line for over an hour just to enter the first jump. And after that all the way you are in enclosed narrow canyon with people being all around close like in a bus. We were told that on a day with 2-3 cruise ships there are over 2000 people going through just this one little attraction. Don't expect tranquil nature encounter.
