Seven waterfalls in Dominican Republic - This was a memorable experience for our family members! Lot of nature, water slides, jumping in water, but also some walking of course, which was a delight. Our bus guide Irina, so friendly and helpful with all the explanations am the way there and back, and JB, our paparazzi photographer was everywhere taking pictures and videos. By the way, it's worth buying the photo package. Our group for the day was called " The sexy alcoholic VIP family 🙂 . Thank you guys! Adrian

Beautiful place but tour could have been better - The excursion was great - beautiful and a one of a kind experience. There are plenty of YouTube videos to give you an idea of what it's like. The guides in our specific troop were great. My only complaints about our trip specifically were: 1. The whole trip was about 6 1/2 hours, not 4 hours. We had to go straight back to our cruise ship after and did not have time to do anything else. Had I known this, I could have planned our day differently. 2. There were many other tour groups that we met up with at the site. Our van only had 11 people but there ended up being probably 100 people total. It was way too much. There was a lot of waiting around when only one person could do a jump or slide at a time. Way too many people to take on a single tour - more money for the guides, but a much less pleasant experience for the customer. The videos on YouTube show much smaller groups so not sure what the deal was that day when we went. Then after the tour there were so many guides expecting tips, which didn't make sense to us because we thought the size of the group/# of guides was too many to begin with. 3. When we were there the water was MUCH deeper than what you see on YouTube. The slides were at least a food deep of gushing water that almost sweeps you off your feet. My 9 year old son was freaked out after the second slide, which did not have a staircase that he could use; he had no choice but to go down. So this wasn't anyone's fault but just something to be aware of if you have young kids or anyone afraid of water or heights at all. They even told us that since we had lifejackets it was fine if people didn't know how to swim but with the water at that level it even freaked us out a little and we are all experienced swimmers. I did appreciate that the almost the whole hike had stairs and rails built in, so the hike felt very safe. It was only once you got into the canyon that you were hiking along rocks the whole time and having to maneuver a bit. You are hiking/walking the entire time, it is not a hike-in, hang out a while, then hike-out type of situation; it's one big loop. So if you bring anything it has to be in a dry bag as you will spend time submerged up to your waist and there won't be anywhere to leave your stuff then grab it again. This is all stuff I would have known if I had watched the YouTube videos first! If you want photos you will need a waterproof camera or there are photographers there that will go on the hike with you and take pictures. Overall it was pretty unforgettable, just many things I wish I knew beforehand and a much smaller group would have been nice.

Wish I knew that it takes longer then what it said - It was fun to do activity, but it took longer then what was said and we didn’t get any time at the Taino bay to see it.

Amazing waterfalls, thrilling jump and slides, irresponsible operator. - This tour operation cancelled my trip last minute saying bad weather and that the waterfalls are closed. I was very disappointed since this is my one day at Port from cruise and I had been looking forward to this excursion. The cancellation right before my ship docks makes it impossible to find another tour on Viator or cruise line with short notice. It turns out that weather was perfect and falls were indeed open, I found another tour operator on shore that took me to the falls the same day. The falls were wonderful and I almost missed out on that amazing experience. I would have understood if falls were indeed closed due to bad weather or more advanced notice given, but neither was true. The optional 20ft jump and the slides were thrilling, and the trek to get there under canopy was great. Highly recommended, just not from this operator.
