Amazing Fun Times! - Highly recommend! We had a group of 7 and everyone absolutely loved it. The guides are very helpful and made sure we were safe! Loved the journey through the the towns especially the beach!! We were also able to stop and shop. Having to walk several minutes from the ship was not bad and the ATV buggy's are literally 5 minutes away from the ship so that you can get back on time!

Fun in the Amber Cove (Puerta Plata), DR - Caliente and his team were fantastic hosts! Thought there would be a learning curve to driving the ATV, but a quick lesson on how to turn them on/off is offered prior to going out for the excursion. The ride was a lot of fun and the memories will last a lifetime.

Super great experience!! - Caliente , our guide, was super patient and took good care of my 85 year old mother as this was her first ATV ride. Erisson, our photographer, took plenty of nice shots of us as we traversed the terrain. The photo package was reasonably. It was comforting that we also had a mechanic, Lapis, ride along with us. Each were very attentive and kind. Grateful that I wore long pants. That motor does get hot. I would definitely recommend this excursion.

ATV Adventure!! - Caliente and Errison was the absolute best tour guides. This was a fun experience and no experience is required!! If you want a taste of what is like in the Dominican Republic do this!! They also offer buggy rides!

Great - So fun! Make sure to bring clothes with you cause you will get mud everywhere. Do not listen to the vendors, they will sell anything to you for three times the price.

Great views - This was a great experience. My 18 year old son was able to ride. We came down on a cruise ship and did not have to spend the whole day on an excursion. Highly recommended.

Thrilling ATV Ride! - My 22 year old daughter and I had a blast on this tour on June 2nd. I had paid for my 76 year old mother to go too, but the heat in DR affected her too much, so she had to go back to the cruise ship before we started the ATV tour. In hindsight, I shouldn’t have paid for her, the ride is a bit rugged and if you’ve never driven an ATV, it’s probably not the best idea to take someone that age. I’d say this is best for someone that has been driving a car at least 2 years. Be prepared for a decent (hot)walk from the ship. The directions they emailed missed one key word - turn left when you exit the gate. If you turn right it’s a bunch of taxi drivers trying to hit you up for rides. Caliente was our guide and he was wonderful. We also had Lapiz as our photographer/videographer and another guy on a dirt bike as our mechanic in case anyone broke down. Extras - take a bandana or you will need to buy a reasonably priced one from them as you have to protect your mouth and nose from the dust you kick up. 2/$5 or 3/$8. It’s well worth the additional $50 for the phtotos and video compilation. Take cash to pay for this or you’ll need to cover the $9 credit card fee. If you have an iPhone they can Airdrop them onto your phone even if you don’t have cell provider service. Don’t take valuable with you unless you have a small plastic travel bag, purse or fanny pack you can wear. We left all our belongings behind at the facility with a lot of staff there. We just had to blindly trust that our things would be there when we got back and they were. The stop at the cigar/coffee/chocolate area is interesting because it feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere but there is guy selling stuff out of a large hut. I probably would’ve purchased something but I left my money at facility and only had my phone with me. Again, you’d need cash and you can haggle with him as there are no prices on anything. The beach we stopped by at the end was beautiful and a great spot for photos. It’s probably a good idea to wear leggings or jeans. We had shorts on and my legs got really hot from the heat of the day and the heat from the motor. I look forward to doing this with my husband and sons again some day. Well worth the money I paid. I tipped each of the 3 guys $10 at the end. I have no idea if that’s fair or not. The other young girls on our trip didn’t tip at all.

Great company. Do not expect riding on the beach. - The guide and photographer were awesome. We expected riding on the beach as your photos represented. Instead the beach was a wash up for trash. Nobody would consider it a beach. That was why would booked the trip.

Not The Best Start of My Birthday - Seeing an email from Viator reminded me that I had not given my review of the atv tour on Monday, 01-23-23. The tour didn't start on time which prevented me from doing other things I wanted to do in the DR. I was told that I was the only person from my ship to book with them, so I had to sit there & wait for people from another ship to arrive before I could start. Maybe I arrived a little early before the scheduled pick up time. The haggling from locals trying to get you to use them for transportation was ridiculous & downright harassment. The seatbelts didn't work in the shuttle that took us to the tour location. The people at the location evidently didn't understand why I was being made to wait for people from another ship before I could begin my tour. A lady offered me something to drink. An older man was explaining to me the difference between booking a tour with the cruise ship vs booking with them and how it impacts locals financially. We made a stop to buy souvenirs and products before we reached the beach. I'm already aware of local economies before I go on cruises, and I already plan to spend a little money, especially when the vendors are people of color. I have a picture of the person I'm mentioning, but I was trying not to put her completely on blast. She had blond wavy/curly hair pulled back. If I'm already going to spend with you, the last thing you should do is try to run game & price gouge. I gave her one warning not to do that or I wouldn't be buying anything. She apologized. I bought a few items. Before I left she was trying to give me fruit for free that she was selling. I did eat some of the tangerine she peeled for me & it was very sweet. I would have accepted the fruit, but there was no space for a bag that size on the atv. The guy leading us did a good job making sure the group stayed together. They did a good job getting photos of us on the tour. This wasn't the most pleasant start of my birthday. I was in the DR again mid November and unfortunately, my first thought was that I would not be doing another excursion with this company.
