great intro to culture in short time - Smooth process, great guide, safe, good food, need more time at Itza and Valladolid. Little up-selling, could be avoided.

Good and bad - The tour guide Luis was amazing and the trip was great. The only downside was added expenses after booking - it tells you hotel pickup included from multiple places (including where we stayed “playa mujeres”) but after booking they contacted saying it was too far and we would have to pay another $10usd pp. Then they let us know the entrance tax for Chichen Itza is not included and that is another $46usd per person. So the surprise extra expenses were upsetting but the tour guide was fantastic and knowledgeable!

Great trip, long ride - Loved the towns, Cenote and ruins. Alan was a fantastic tour guide. Shuttle was really, really long. 14 hour tour rather than 11 - when you add all the hotel drop offs

A decent trip, but prepare for the heat! - This is a very fun experience but they provide no water the entire day. It is a long day in hot weather and you must bring or purchase water at every step of the way, including the buffet lunch! Be prepared to spend an extra $20-$30 on water (for a couple). Also note that the life jacket for swimming in the cenote is required, so that's another $4 per person if you want to swim. It's also $4 for a locker. The only other thing I'll note is that you spend 2 hours at Chichen Itza and seating can be crowded, especially in the shade. Consider bringing an opaque umbrella to make your own shade.

Very expensive additional payments required - The advertised cost of this trip was £55 however to participate in all the included activities it requires payment of an additional $51 ($43 for Chichen Itza entrance and $8 mandatory life jacket to swim in the cenote). This means if you pay a tip as well the additional cost is more than the actual cost of the tour. I don’t think £55 is a good price for essential transport, lunch and a guide. Also the advertising on viator is misleading as the page is titled as all inclusive and the ticket even said all inclusive on it.

Be careful when buying this! - Careful when buying the tickets, even though it says "all inclusive". One buys a tour to Chichen Itza, but it doesn't include entrance to even see the park. The tickets are very tricky (and I believed to be advertised in bad faith) when one buys a tour to Chichen Itza but you have to buy admission to see it when you get there. I talked to the guide, but they were very rude when trying to explain it that I needed to buy it separately and basically told me straight up that if I had read what was included in my tickets I would know I needed to buy it separately. When I told them that the ticket explicitly says "all inclusive tour", they told me that it is just the name of the tour, but that i didn't necessarily included it. I wouldn't mind paying for the admission, but again, very misleading and bad faith. In addition, to be able to enter the Cenotes, life jackets are required and need to be bought separately. Again, if it is required, it should be included in the tickets. My frustration is that you go with the expectations that you will be able to see Chichen Itza and the enter the cenote, otherwise, it would be pointless to be on a buss for 5 hours to be waiting outside. Be careful when buying this!

Scam company!!! - This company is a scam! I booked a trip and paid extra for hotel pickup. Later they sent a request for additional money for hotel pickup. ALL attempts to contact the company through text, emails, etc were mute!!! The telephone numbers they provided were all non-operational... my hotel tried to contact them...but nothing!!! A half hour after receiving the bogus attempt to extrapolate more money for an already paid pickup fee... I canceled! Oh... they texted me the next morning saying the driver was looking for me! No one came to my hotel.... What a rip-off scam!!!

Please read before you book-Awful experience - Warning! Viator is very tricky with the bait and switch on this tour. All-inclusive is actually $149 per person and the option is way at the bottom of your choices and out of sight. If you pick hotel booking, you will have to pay about $50 extra per person ($42 cenote admission plus extras). Also, many people (including myself) did not get picked up for their tour with the hotel pick up option. We waited for over an hour and the driver never showed (see picture). The company SAT Mexico was the partner used for my trip. They refused a full refund as well. You can find an all inclusive tour locally for $89 per person and avoid the middle man. Those include a buffet lunch and drinks all day. I received terrible customer service from Viator as well. They were slow to respond and wouldn’t address my concerns or honestly answer my questions.

Worst experience ever - Do not use this company! I booked them through Viator and it was a nightmare. I was never picked up for this tour and was refused a refund. The tour was confirmed three times, twice the night before and once in the morning.
