Loved it so much we went twice in one day! - Highly recommend snorkeling or diving with the Wet Set crew! Loved it so much we went twice in one day. Marco, Pollo, Christopher, and the whole team were wonderful. We saw dozens of species of fish, two types of turtles, and much more.

Small group, like a private snorkeling tour - Small group. They are very attentive every step of the way. Very thing is smooth. Amazing experience with snorkeling, seen so many tropical fishes and 3 sea turtles swimming right in front of us. Street parking is easy. Small village with very warm and friendly people.

Amazing tour through the reef! - Boat guide and captain are very knowledgeable about the reef and the wildlife that in it. Saw very big fish, sea turtles and a lot of other animals throughout the coral. Boat guide was very respectful for the reef and the rules and to guide around the coral as to not disturb the wildlife.

Perfect, small group (almost private!) snorkeling tour! - What a spectacular experience. It was like swimming through an aquarium. Turtle, barracudas, trumpet fish, schooling fish, Christmas tree worm, eel, trigger fish, parrot fish, gobies, live beautiful coral. Our guide and boat captain were focused on our safety, protecting the reef and also pointing out fish that we would have missed.

This it the snorkel tour you want! - Great snorkel tour! Our guide Christopher knew the spots to see a moray eel, turtles, and a nurse shark. We also saw beautiful, healthy coral, bright colorful fish and barracuda. All around awesome snorkeling experience. Thanks Wet Set team!

Cool trip, good value - Wife took my 3 teens and they had great experience, saw lots of stuff, staff was very friendly. We only had a couple hours open so this was perfect. Snorkel sites are short boat ride.

Awesome experience with nervous kids - We have three very anxious autistic kids. We did a lot of prep before our trip, talking about what we would see, practicing snorkeling in a pool, etc. We were hesitant to commit to one of the tours offered by our resort, because we would have been in a large group for several hours with no easy way back if it became too much. Wet Set was small and personal and tailored the experience to our needs. Our family had the boat to ourselves, which is not always the case, but also didn’t seem uncommon. It was easy to call a taxi from our resort and the driver came back to pick us up when we were finished. We loved that the experience didn’t have to take a whole day out of our vacation. We spent about 3.5-4 hours round trip including waiting for the taxi and making a quick stop at a pharmacy on the way back. The kids were still very nervous when we arrived, but the staff instantly made us feel comfortable by talking about shared interests (specifically Bluey). Moises our driver and Mario our guide were spectacular. They made the rules and instructions very clear. They were patient with helping the kids get ready. In the water, Mario led us to calm, uncrowded areas, and pointed out interesting creatures. He towed the kids with his life preserver when they were tired or nervous. When they started melting down from sensory overload, he led us back to the boat and Moises drove us to another spot where they had been seeing turtles recently. The guides made it clear that anyone could stay in the boat if they didn’t want to snorkel more. But they also made the idea of seeing turtles exciting enough that everyone was willing to get back in the water. We did see three turtles grazing, and everyone decided it was definitely worth it. Over all, a great experience, even with our kids’ high needs. The shop has a shower to rinse off, but not a restroom or changing area. The public restroom across the street was closed for maintenance. The bar next door charges 20 pesos per person to use the restroom if you’re not dining there. Not exorbitant by any means, just fyi.

Great 'no frills' snorkeling trip - We had a fabulous tour with Marcos and Joel. This is a 'no frills' snorkeling tour - just two hours, a small boat, and expert guides to help you see the best of the Mesoamerican Barrier Reef. We saw tons of fish, including a giant barracuda. My wife was really keen to see sea turtles and the guides went out of their way to help spot one for us to check out. The tour is a quick 10 minute boat ride from Puerto Morelos, two 45 minute snorkeling sessions, and then 10 minutes back to the dock. For our family with young kids, it was the perfect adventure without the hassle of a long trip on a 'party boat'. Our guides were great with the kids (ages 8, 6), and even helped them navigate around in the slightly choppy waters. They had equipment for everyone, including wet suits to help with sun protection and all the rest of the gear. For anyone looking for a quick but impressive snorkeling excursion, this is it!
