Best snorkelling experience ever - We snorkelled with Ivan at 8.30am; my husband and I were the only people booked onto the tour so it was an exclusive trip! Ivan and the team were very friendly, accommodating and informative. We saw 3 eagle rays within 10 minutes of entering the water. Ivan was great at communicating sightings to us. We also saw barracuda, lobster, eels, trigger fish and many more beautiful species. The reef was quiet- we didn’t see any other tourists or boats so had the reef to ourselves. This is the best snorkelling experience I’ve done. Thanks again to Ivan, that captain- Marcos- and the team.

Perfect scuba trip! So many beautiful fish! - A perfect scuba trip. Exactly what we wanted. Able to see so many varieties of fish. Team was very professional and friendly. I liked that this was a small group tour vs the larger companies. That way you aren’t bumping into lots of people. Would highly recommend. Grab a bite to eat right by their shop after.

Great snorkeling adventure! - Wetset is a great place to book your snorkeling adventure in Puerto Morelos. No worries about taxes and fees. It’s all included in the price. Museli at the reception was great when I called. Oh and I suggest calling if you have any questions! Other than that masks and fins which are provided and you can have a wetsuit free if charge to prevent sunburn. I strongly suggest you take it. They have both long sleeve and short sleeve wetsuits. As for the trip itself, you have two 45 minute dives. A water bottle and granola bar are given to you between dives. Our captain Marcos and dive master Christopher were awesome! Both were very knowledgeable of all the species you may encounter. Christopher was especially great at spotting rays, barracudas and turtles and making sure we saw them. The dives were great but a little choppy because of the waves at times, but hey your in the ocean and it was a little windy. Once you’re among the coral reefs though you barely feel it. Wetset are quite strict about following the rules of the marine park which shows their respect for the reef and wildlife. I truly appreciated that point. We saw yellow rays, 2 spotted eagle rays (quite rare this time of year), a green turtle, plenty of barracudas and multitudes of jacks, angelfish, parrotfish, a porcupine fish (puffer) and plethora of other tropical fishes. Also a great variety of brain coral, elk coral, sea fans and other hard and soft coral. It was daughter’s first open water dive (11 yrs). Christopher took her under his wing and she had a blast. She has been swimming for two years now though. Do I recommend? Yes! Whole heartedly! Will I return? You bet! Rating: 5 stars Alain Mainguy

My favorite outfit for snorkeling in Puerto Morelos - I love this place! This is our fourth trip to the area, and we always book right away with Wet Set, because we always have a great experience. They advise on the best times to go, based on weather, tides and winds, and they have quality snorkeling gear for us to use. This time, it was unusually cold, and we opted for wetsuits. I'm larger, and they fit me with a suit, no problem. We went twice this time, once with Ivan, and once with Christopher. Both of our guides were knowledgeable and caring, with good English, and led us to good spots to see the beautiful creatures on this wonderful reef. The captain of the boat both times was Moises, and he was so helpful to whoever needed a lift back onto the boat, or help getting in or out on shore. We'll book with these folks again next time, for sure! I can't wait, I'm already missing that beautiful town, those amazing fish!

Great quick activity right in Puerto Morelos - We were staying in Puerto Morelos so it was easy to just walk down the beach to the pick up place. Quick boat ride out to the reef (literally can see the shore). Great for 1st time snorkelers or those who like shallower water (2-5 meter depth). They accommodate less experienced swimmers if you have one in your group etc. We saw turtles, sting rays, schools of beautiful fish etc. Got to go right over parts of the reef in 2 different locations! If you're looking for a quick activity in your day. Try this out! They provide wet suits if you require.
