Huatulco, Mexico Celebrity Eclipse stop - Huatulco, Mexico Celebrity Eclipse stop On December 12, 2023 our Celebrity cruise docked on a very long dock in Huatulco. My wife and I were planning to spend time without any sightseeing. We had the opportunity to see the area on our previous cruises. We just wanted to spend some time swimming. So instead of purchasing excursions with visiting multiple beeches, we made decision to stay on the beach right the left of the ship. We selected one of the sea shore restaurants which offered chairs and umbrellas. Server offered for us to stay on condition that we will purchase a coupling of drinks. We were not in the mood for drinks and agreed to $15 payment with no drinks. Spent a good time swimming, even saw few small fishes though my snorkel, but this is not good beech for snorkeling, but good for relaxing and swimming. Good Travels

Highly recommend! - Alejandro was phenomenal and made our trip to Huatulco beyond memorable. We left the day feeling as if we had experienced authentic Huatulco culture theough snorkling, seeing the breathtaking coast and exploring the city center. Would 100% recommend this and other tours with this agency.

Fun and chill day touring Huatulco - We had an excellent day! Our tour guide Alejandro was very knowledgeable and SO nice! Everything went smoothly from pick up to drop off. We rented snorkeling gear and had a nice lunch of fresh seafood. Then off to sightseeing and a little shopping. I would highly recommend this tour for a relaxing tour that incorporates a little of everything. Be prepared for a bit of a (beautiful) drive if coming from Puerto Escondido; we were out all day. Thanks for everything!

From releasing baby turtles to snorkeling during Christmas - This was our second trip to Puerto Escondido, to which we fell in love with. We come down visiting from New York, and this is well incredibly worth it. Our travel agent is Araceli, whom suggested the releasing of baby sea turtles to us our first day there. For the rest of our trip, our guide was Jose, who was fantastic! He speaks English, and explained things to us in English, and was extremely informative. He later set us up with the amazing Huatulco. We were able to see all the bays Huatulco offers, then had an amazing dinner on the beach; which was INCREDIBLE. After that, we got to see the town of Huatulco. An incredible Christmas it was for our entire family... We HIGHLY recommend everyone to pay a visit because it is simply that beautiful. Our family will definitely be back for a third time and do more excursions!

A full day of great events - We had a great day with Alejandro as our tour guide. He expertly got us from Puerto to Huatulco and to our catamaran excursion—with a lot of geographical, historical and cultural info along the way. The catamaran tour was beautiful but all the tour guides spoke only very fast Spanish (although the guides went out of their way to speak to us in English). But we did miss a lot. We knew we were going to have to pay for our own lunch at one of the playas but were seated at one particular and overpriced restaurant. We spent too long there, but once we were on the road the rest of the trip went well, which was essentially touring the overlooks of Huatulco. The highlight though was the visit to the indigenous peoples artistic cooperative. A great presentation on handmade rugs and the dying of cotton. Beautiful store. It was almost a 12-hour day. Mostly good, but a few things could have been improved.

Not a Socially-Distant Excursion - book a private instead! - The operator/tour guide was very good! We are from America, and he catered to us by speaking English. He was easy to communicate with prior to pick-up/departure. He was on-time and picked us up at the hotel. I'm giving this two stars because the "catamaran" was actually a really large boat. The advertisement said a maximum of 10 people, which is why we booked. When we arrived at the dock, the "catamaran" was a large boat. The operator said it was only at 50% capacity, but it probably had close to 100 people on board. And not everyone was masked. And there were a ton of kids not wearing masks. I felt the advertisement was a bit misleading. However, our tour guide was able to problem-solve and we booked a private boat tour instead. But we had to pay $2000/person on top of what we paid for the original booking. Which added up to be a lot higher than we hoped. But, our operator/tour guide gave a VERY good private tour. Overall, this excursion is not socially distant but you can book a private.
