Shanghai Pudong International Airport - Upon your flight’s arrival or train’s arrival, your local driver and guide will be waiting for you, holding a welcome sign with your name, to transfer you to your hotel.
Huangpu River - After checking into the hotel and taking a short break, you will be transferred to the Bund area to begin your 3-day Shanghai tour with a cruise on the Huangpu River (the cruise lasts for 50 minutes). Along both banks of the river, numerous landmark buildings showcase the city’s past, present, and future. Additionally, the Yangpu Bridge and Nanpu Bridge resemble two dragons crouching across the river. With the Oriental Pearl TV Tower nestled under their arches, they create a scene of ‘Two Dragons Playing a Ball’. This makes the Huangpu River Cruise an excellent way to explore the city’s history, culture, and captivating landscape.
The Bund (Wai Tan) - Later, enjoy leisure time at the Bund area to admire various buildings in different architectural styles. There are many photo opportunities here, and you will have some free time to enjoy it at your own pace.

Shanghai Museum (Shanghai Bowuguan) - The Shanghai Museum features eleven galleries and three exhibition halls with a rich collection of Chinese paintings, calligraphy, ceramics, bronze, and minority costumes. You may spend two hours here.
Yu Garden (Yuyuan) - Next, enjoy a relaxing stroll through the beautiful Yu Garden. Located in the old town, Yuyuan Garden is the city’s most famous ancient site, known for its ingenious layout and delicate architecture. The garden’s treasure, Yu Ling Long (an exquisite jade stone), an artificial hill, is considered one of the three most renowned peaks in Southern China.
Yuyuan Old Street - Then, visit the Yuyuan Bazaar, also known as Yuyuan Market, located outside Yu Garden in the heart of Old Shanghai City, close to the Old City God Temple. There are many traditional Chinese buildings now used as commercial stores selling local products, snacks, jewelry, souvenirs, antiques, and more.
Shanghai World Financial Center - Afterwards, visit the Shanghai World Financial Center and ascend to the 100th floor for panoramic views of the city. It is the world’s 8th tallest building and the 4th tallest structure in Mainland China. The 100th floor features a 55-meter-long viewing gallery, the second highest observation deck in China, higher than the viewing platforms on the Canadian TV Tower (447 meters) and the Dubai Tower (440 meters).
Xintiandi - Finally, visit Xin Tian Di, a former neighborhood of old Shanghai that has been transformed into a fashionable pedestrian street with fine restaurants, upscale clubs, and boutiques.

Humble Administrator’s Garden - Upon arrival, you will immediately tour the Humble Administrator’s Garden, a classical garden full of graceful scenes. Located in the northeast of Suzhou, the Humble Administrator’s Garden is the largest and most famous classical garden in the city. With a history of over 500 years, it was originally built in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and has become a representation of Chinese private gardens. From a panoramic perspective, the garden is divided into eastern, western, and central parts, focusing on lush greenery, blooming flowers, delicate galleries, long corridors, and distinctive buildings in each area.
Suzhou Village - Then, enjoy sightseeing through Suzhou’s old town. Riding on a tricycle, you can glimpse the ancient constructions that have existed over the years within the old block.
Tongli Town - After lunch, you will be guided to Tongli Ancient Town. Due to its long history and thoughtful preservation, Tongli is a wonderful place to appreciate the charm of the water town along the Yangtze River in China.
Tongli is a picturesque and time-honored town with a network of waterways. Visitors can see 49 ancient bridges and 7 small isles segmented by the rivers and their branches. Strolling along the flagstone walkways around Tongli Town, you will find that almost all the folk dwellings are constructed at the water’s edge, with many boats berthed in front. The classic Retreat and Reflection Garden (Tuisi Garden) is a highlight, with almost all the buildings inside standing by the jasper-like pond.

West Lake (Xi Hu) - Upon arrival in Hangzhou, you will first visit the famous West Lake. West Lake undoubtedly represents the beauty of Hangzhou. With rolling hills as its backdrop, this mirror-like lake is surrounded by willows with their branches waving in the wind and dotted with several islets and blooming lotus flowers. West Lake offers beautiful scenes for photography from every angle. The delightful sight of the ‘Three Pools Mirroring the Moon’ is even printed on the CNY 1 note.
Lingyin Temple - After lunch, continue to Lingyin Temple, where you will spend some time appreciating the profound Buddhist atmosphere. This is the oldest temple in Hangzhou, with a history of over 1,700 years. It is also regarded as a treasure of Buddhist culture, housing various historic relics from different dynasties. A maverick monk named Ji Gong (1148 - 1209) was ordained at Lingyin Temple. Your guide will share interesting stories about this renowned monk, who often wore rags, was unkempt, and violated Buddhist commandments.
Longjing Tea Fields - Then, proceed to a tea plantation to learn about Hangzhou’s tea culture. Longjing Tea, or Dragon Well Tea, with a history of over 1,200 years, is the No. 1 tea in China and regarded as the “Green Queen”. Visit Longjing Tea plantations in Hangzhou to appreciate the charming verdant scenery and learn more about the culture of tea and the Chinese nation.
Hangzhou - At the end of the day, your guide will escort you to your hotel in Hangzhou or to Hangzhou train station/airport. This marks the end of your 4-day tour services.
