Our App guides you between puzzles without merely directing you to follow a map dot. If you need help with any puzzles, hints are available. The App is accessible on both Android and iPhone.

The Alvor Hunt leads you along the picturesque waterfront and through the narrow streets of the old town. Depending on the season, you might start or finish the hunt with a short stroll to the town’s stunning white sand beach. Alternatively, make a day of it by bringing a picnic or enjoying lunch at one of the excellent fish restaurants.

There are two hunts to choose from: Family or Standard. Both are 2.1km long and feature 20 clues; the Family Hunt emphasizes observation and provides more substantial hints. They can be completed in about 2 hours, but you can take your time—just be sure to finish before dark, or you might have difficulty finding the clues!

The self-guided nature of this activity allows participants to move at their own pace, whether they choose to proceed quickly or pause for refreshments. The app tracks progress and even enables the adventure to be continued on another day.
