Embark on an awe-inspiring mountain drive, touted as one of the country’s most picturesque sojourns.

The journey starts from Salt Lake and meanders through Parley’s Canyon to the rear of the Wasatch mountain range, typically referred to as the Wasatch Back. Along the route, we take in the historic charm of Park City. Next, we steer southwards to behold the stunning Jordanelle Reservoir before eventually reaching the mountainous settlement of Heber.

From Heber, we steer westwards to marvel at the stupendous Deer Creek Reservoir nestled under Mount Timpanogos. Subsequently, we descend into the winding Provo canyon, tracing a snaking river, beneath towering mountains and towering cliffs. Bridal Veil falls make their dramatic appearance and travellers have the option to take a short stroll for a closer look.

Our Salt Lake homeward journey begins with one of the region’s most breathtaking drives; The Alpine loop! A day well spent - Exactly what I was looking for. I’m here on business from the East coast and I had one free day to explore Utah. This trip was fantastic right from the start. Shawn was very flexible in starting time and completely rerouted our tour for me because I wanted to catch a late lunch in Park City. I learned a ton, saw views that I would never have been able to find on my own and had some great conversation along the way. 10/10 recommend.

Driving in a Winter Wonderland (aka the Wasatch Mountains) - I recently accompanied my husband on a business trip to Salt Lake City and wanted to get out and about without having to rent a car and drive myself. Enter Shawn Homer, co-owner of BeUTAHful Tours. These tours cater to very small groups (2-3 passengers max), and as a result the itinerary is both flexible and customizable. Since this was my first time visiting SLC, I left it up to Shawn to select scenic/notable sights to see, and he didn't disappoint. In a half-day, we visited Park City, Provo Canyon/Bridal Veil Falls, the towns of Provo and Orem, Little Cottonwood Canyon, and Alta, with snowy mountain vistas throughout the drive. Shawn was also a very engaging companion for the day. This excursion had none of the typical "tour" vibes, and instead felt more like chatting with a knowledgeable friend who was able to spotlight the amazing scenery found within a short drive of SLC. If you're planning on visiting SLC, book this excursion.

Gorgeous ride - Our driver and tour operator, Shawn, was knowledgeable, friendly, and a great driver. it was a rainy day which means some of the peaks difficult to see however, Shawn went out of his way to make sure we got to see the best of the fall colors as the trees were turning. The waterfalls we saw were beautiful, and one was huge. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to see the Wasatch Mountains up close. We went through Park City and Shawn pointed out the highlights of that area.. Overall this was a gorgeous ride and a great tour. Highly recommended!

Winning Photo Worthy Views and Fun Tailored for You - Shawn was an excellent guide and helped us craft a trip just for us. We wanted to snap some great pics of the canyons and reservoirs and spend a little time in Park City. I shopped for turquoise jewelry, window shopped art and even bought a hat! We also wanted to visit some artisanal cheese shops. The Bridal Falls, Mount Timpanogos, The Uinta National Forest with yellow aspen, Deer Creek Reservoir, Alpine Loop, were all stunning. This was a great time to see the bright reds, yellows, oranges, golds and silver white bark contrasted against the still green background.
