Franchini definitely worth a visit - Marta was extremely pleasant and very knowledgeable as well as giving us recommendations on places to visit whilst we were vacationing in the Veneto area. Lovely hearing about the history behind the winery

History and wine tour was amazing! - This wine tour was the start of our Italy trip and was our favorite. So much history in this vineyard followed by amazing, rich wine. the Amarone was superb. This is a place I would want to bring my family and friends in the future.

Great for couples - I really enjoyed this wine tour. Our guide was knowledgeable and had great energy. The wines we tasted were very very good and all different in taste and process. We bought one cheese and meat platter for 2 people and it was more than enough. We bought some wines and home made cherry jam at the end and the lady even called a taxi for us. I’d definitely come back!

Boutique Vinyard for amazing Amarone - FRANCHINI was absolutely perfect. Fantastic amarone and a true winery. We were looking for the “story” behind the heart of the wine and they certainly delivered. One of the highlights of our 2 weeks in Italy. We will be purchasing our wine from Franchini for years to come. Thank you!

Good Winetasting if just red wine with a short walk in the winefield - The winetasting was really nice and the host really could answer us all the questions. Because I already did some winetasting i was a little disappointed that we couldn’t see how they prepare the wine

A bit of an expensive let down - We were very excited to do this trip after reading everyone’s reviews and we researched it a great deal. We got a taxi to the beautiful spot in the mountains where the views were spectacular. We had a warm welcome from a lady initially. But sadly she was not the one doing our tour. It was just the two of us, the tour lasted half an hour. We found the guide abrasive and she struggled a bit with her English. It felt very much like she didn’t want to be there. We also booked the cheese and ham platters which arrived after the second glass of wine. Having done other wine tasting we found it odd to be using just one glass to taste 6 different wines. She didn’t show us anything to buy. We felt rushed to finish as she took the liberty to order a taxi for us before we had even finished our last tasting of wine. There was no option to stay for another glass, buy anything or browse. Considering we spent over €100 on the experience, plus over €85 on taxis from Verona and back, we feel very disappointed with this experience which we didn’t feel was value for money or particularly enjoyable.
