Great experience - Very informative and we were able to see the grapes being harvested and put through machine and tested for sugar content. Very cool. Building is an Old fortress

In search of good wine!! - We walked the Via Francigena from Buonoconvento thru the Tuscan hills and farmland to this gorgeous and peaceful hilltop vineyard property. The history shared about the fortress was fascinating and our tour guide Alice was Incredibly knowledgeable and expert at sharing the grape growing and wine making process. And we were made to feel very comfortable during the wine tasting. An excellent experience all around.

Great wine, beautiful vista - A worthy detour to a rejuvenated winery. The guide had a great deal of care in the tour and the wine itself was fantastic. (We order half a case!)

I would give it 1000 stars if I could! - I cannot say enough nice things about this tour and tasting. Alice was an amazing, making sure my group got to see and taste everything this winery had to offer. We felt as though we were guests of the family, and you do not want to miss this beautiful spot and wonderful people.

A fun wine tasting experience - The location was lovely: high on a hilltop a 1700s building. Our tour of the vineyard’s operations was about 30 minutes. Our tour guide Alessio was very knowledgeable and quite funny once we were in the tasting room. Our tour group was limited to 10 people which gave everyone a good opportunity to ask questions. They gave us four of their Brunello wines to taste and explained their various qualities. All in all, a very enjoyable time.

Diisappointed - Our experience did not meet our expectations. Arrived early and not a good place to wait. Our tour was only 40 min, started about 12 min late. A non English tour started at the same time as ours was supposed to start and didn’t come in for the tasting till we were all done, lasting twice as long as our tour. We were very disappointed in the quality of the tour, and we have always had good luck with viator.

Value for money experience - The right girl, the very small cellars. The visit was very short for the price. The wine was fine but little quantity. Value for money experience

Overpriced wines in a nice Mood, little wine, 2 crackers packed in plastic as an addition, clearly fingers off - The wine tasting was not even remotely worth its price, only the nice lady who made the tour and the ancient walls could convince. The wines were served very “sparingly” and the two “cracker sticks” packed in plastic bags were carefully expressed as an absolute cheekiness, especially as they were served with a wine that was not exactly a bargain at 55 € per bottle. There were also cheaper ones at the trial, but I can also buy them at REWE around the corner! We also gave up the purchase of the only really good wine, which we would classify as absolutely overpriced. All in all, this wine tasting is not worth the price, so fingers off.

Rip off winery tour and wines - As compared to ones in Chianti, this was a total rip off for 55 euros. I wouldn’t even if it was free. Clearly looks like reviews are managed. The wine tour lasted for about 30mins and most time was spent at wine tasting. Wines were from 2024 and atrocious. The Brunello was from 2020 (just about the legal age). Most of my fellow tasters left their wines or threw it. No one bought any bottles. Do not recommend. The only grace was the tour guide was polite and helpful.
