Organic wine tour & tasting. - I booked this tour & tasting for my husband and I. It may be one of the highlights of our trip so far, and arguably our favorite tasting so far of our trip! There were so many different types of wine at the tasting (and we were pleasantly surprised to have rose, white and red wine). The pairings of food were plentiful and delicious. Our guide was very personable, sweet and funny. She was engaging, as well. We also enjoyed meeting other travelers and just had a wonderful experience overall. I would highly recommend this experience if you’re in Umbria!

Wine tasting near Perugia/Asissi - Really well looked after. They are clearly passionate about their wine, and take time to tell you how much trouble they go to. Very friendly and informal. After the tour we sat with them for about an hour with some lovely food (cheese, meats etc) and tasted five wines. No hard sell, but we did buy some wine while we were there.

Awesome wine tasting! Wonderful. - It was a great wine tasting. Our host was so friendly and explained how their processes used in their organic winery are so different from other commercial wineries. It’s great to support a family owned winery (since the 12th century!) The wines were wonderful, paired with foods of cheeses and meats. All with a great view of the valley below. I live in Sonoma county, next to Napa county, in the USA, and have visited dozens of wineries. This was very unique and special. Great tour!

Perfetto! - What a wonderful experience! We stumbled upon this little vineyard as we were planning or holiday. It was perfect for us as we were based in Spello (close and they provide transport from Spello). The tour was informative. We were a little late, so only saw the vineyard from a distance, but that was fine for us. The highlight of the day was the tasting and spending time with Maria and her family (including Dodo)! There is a separate space for the tasting with a stunning view over the valley. We were able to taste 6 different wines with yummy bruschetta (olive oil, tomato, pesto, and an artichoke spread I can't remember the name of), followed by a lovely meat and cheese board. The tasting ended with a tasting of their balsamic vinegar. We received such a warm welcome from the moment we were picked up in Spello to the moment we were take back home. Maria sat with us and visited--she was familiar with where we are from, which was fun. She also has the most infectious and joyful laughter!! If we are ever able to get back to Italy, we will return to Tili Vini! Thank you for the perfect evening! We can't wait for our shipment of wine, oil, and vinegar to arrive!!

Wonderful experience! - We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Tili Vini. Unlike other wine tours we have done in Italy this place is a family run business. It was really interesting to learn about the organic side of production and Maria, our host, was warm, welcoming and had a great sense of humour! The best was definitely the wine tasting and delicious food. Beautiful bruschetta with their own olive oil and tomatoes from the garden accompanied by white, rose and the unusually ‘orange’ wine. Umbrian meats, cheeses, melon and bread with two delicious red wines and a desert wine with Maria’s home made biscotti - just perfect. A spoonful of their divine balsamic vinegar to finish (we HAD to buy some) I would thoroughly recommend this visit if you are anywhere near Assisi … no better way to spend a late morning/lunchtime. Thank you Maria for your hospitality.

Excellent tour around the winery - Amazing to experience how the wines are made and why Tili Vini do as they do. You get the tour around the winery and experience the process. Really interesting! Great to taste the different wines afterwards and compare.

Warm and embracing wine tasting - We’re a family with four teenagers and no wine experts except that we love tasting good food and wine from around the world. Here everyone really enjoyed the kindness from the TILI family. First a very good and informative tour and then lunch plates with delicious food and plenty of wine in the glasses. Not only to taste but to really be able to enjoy this fantastic family and the wines they have created. I hope you will soon ensure these wines to be available in Denmark❤️

The perfect small winery - The highlight of the tour, besides the wine, espescialy the sancreterre (magnificent), was talking to the owner. Such a pleasure. Italian all the way.

Disappointing - This is the hardest review I have written. Our host was so nice and informative, but the entire tasting was very unprofessional. When we pulled in the driveway, 3 dogs started barking and coming towards the car. I do not have a dog and honestly, i am afraid of them. One of the 3 was what looked to be a German Shepard. So not knowing the dogs, we stayed in the car till a woman (the host) greeted us. The dogs were there throughout the tasting. Trying to get food off our table, one jumping on my lap, being very disruptive, i would think to ANYONE trying to enjoy a wine tasting, let alone someone like me who never had a dog and is afraid of them. The food served with the wine was good, but the entire experience was lacking unfortunately. Again - our host was knowledgeable and friendly, but a bit more professionalism in putting the dogs in the house perhaps, would have went a long way.
