Nice excursion to the island of Elba. - Excellent organization, little time to visit the countries. Of course in a day you can not see much. So everything's OK.

Wonderful day experienced with nice driver, Alexandra and tour guide, Serena - We made a nice tour, where Serena told us a lot. Was a well organized day, first we were dropped off in Porto Azurro where there were nice shops. Then we went to Campo di Marina where we had lunch and then took a dip in the clear blue water. At 17:00 the boat was ready to take us to Piombino.

Good organization, spectacular Elba! - Well organized trip, Serena excellent navigator;) We started from S.Vincenzo from Park Albatros as indicated. Parking is included, with a few steps on foot, past the pools, near the market there is the meeting point. Bus to Piombino, which will embark, then about an hour and 10 of navigation, Portoferraio and then Marina di Campo, then return around 7 pm. Vote 8!

Beautiful Island! - My family enjoyed this excursion. Elba is an absolutely beautiful place, and I’m so glad I got to experience it! I liked how we got to go to two different areas and had some free time in each area. It was nice to explore a new place without having to worry about the details.

Excursion Elba - We thought it was a reasonable excursion. Expected a little more of it myself. Namely by seeing a little more Things to do with explanations from the Guide. We were dropped off at the two stops and just had to go our separate ways. The first stop in porto azzurro was an hour and was a nice place with nice shops. At the second stop in marina di campo we had to enjoy ourselves for 3.5 hours. Quite a long time since it was almost 40 degrees and most shops there are closed between 13.00 and 16.00. Bus was fine arranged, only the ferry for the return trip was drama. No air conditioning, all passengers saw outside on the deck on the ground. Very unfortunate, had me very excited. Also thought elba would be a nice quiet island but it was busy and touristy.

Misleading description- it‘s just transport/ primarily a trip to a busy beach - Inaccurate description- extremely disappointed. The tour lasts 10-11 hours as advertised. What was not clear was the guide only gives you a few facts whilst on the bus (bilingual- first in Italian, then English). When you get to the locations, you are on your own (so not what I would call a guided tour). Portoferraio is mentioned in the description as the most important town on the island and yet we skip it altogether! The description makes it sound like 3+ towns are visited and as Portoferraio is our landing port and referenced in the description, I understood that we would have a guided tour there. This was not the case and was a real shame as it is the most important ( historically and economically speaking) on the island. Instead we spend 1.5 hours at Porto Azzurro and then 3.5 hrs ( on our own) at Marina di Campo (a beach and nothing else). I asked the guide why this was the case as the itinerary stated 55 mins at Porto Azzurra and 2 hrs at the beach (time for lunch and a stroll - which would have been ideal), which indicated 2 hours in another town. He explained that they used to include Portoferraio/ Napoleon‘s House but the families from the campsite that organizes this tour wanted more time at the beach. It’s a real shame that the online description was completely wrong / misleading. I visited Portferraio with my younger son a few months ago and did a guided tour of the town (booked with TripAdvisor/ Viator) and it was fascinating. I was with my older son this time and wanted him to also experience Portoferraio so we were both extremely disappointed. As I mentioned earlier, for me a guided tour is one where the guide takes you through the town and highlights points of interest. That was not what this was. It was simply transport. My son even suggested we make our own way back to Piombino at one stage!
