Very interesting day out, some thing different and away from the crowds - Been to lake como many times and had never heard of Montecchio, if you are interested interested in anything ww1/ww2 well worth a visit. The guide took time to explain in English although we where the only to non Italians in the group

Definitely worth seeing - Fort from the First World War which can be visited with a guide in English or Italian. There are also information sheets in German so that you can understand everything easily. The fort can also be visited with a dog, which I thought was great.

Cool fort to experience - Great tour, neat fort to visit if you are in the area. Our tour guide Luca was very good. He didn't rush and gave us plenty of time to explore and ask questions. Last part of the tour when stepping out onto the top of the fort was cool with really nice views.
