Five star tour - Anna met us on time at the train station in Cassino. Her knowledge of the battle and the surrounding area was incredible. When she found out that my father was a Polish soldier who fought there, she made sure to point out the Polish Cemetery to us. She dropped my husband and I off at the Polish Cemetery at the end of the tour (we knew that this was not included in the tour), and she made sure that we knew what time a bus would return us to the train station in Cassino. We would recommend this tour 100%. Anna was amazing! Thank you

Monte Cassino Battlefields Tour with Anna Priora - Anna was incredibly knowledgeable and we learned such a lot. The tour was run very efficiently with attention to the individuals in the group. Her friendly and humourous nature was engaging. Anna even went out of her way after the tour to help us with a specific request. We would highly recommend her, but book early.

Excellent context to major WWII event. - This three hour event was thoroughly enjoyable. Anna was great, knowledgeable and passionate. The maximum size of the group is seven, today we were five. After meeting at the piazza, we were driven in a van to locations relevant to the great battles that occurred here in 1944. Without seeing Cassino and the famous Abby from across the valley, it would be hard for one to fully understand the events that took place. After seeing the area from up high, with her excellent narration, we then ended the trip by going up to Monte Cassino to see the rebuilt Abbey. To clarify, the original that was built around 500 A.D. was completely destroyed in 1944. What you get to see is a rebuilt structure, based on the original plans and photographs. So it is an amazing thing to see. By using the original source documents, as well as details given by the actual monks who live there, over 14 years of work, went into rebuilding a perfect representation of the original structure. If you are passionate about World War II history, this is a great way to spend your time.

Anna is fantastic - you must book this your if you want to visit cassino and learn more about the battle - Anna was the perfect tour guide for this tour as she is an expert on the subject and has a doctorate about the whole battle of monte cassino. She is even from Cassino and knows everything about the town and its heritage after WW2! If you have relatives who fought in the battle (as we did) or just a general interest in the Italian theatre of the war this is a must trip to book. Visited with my parents and partner and will definitely take my children in future to remember our relative.

Anna's knowledge is impressive - With only 6 people on a tour, there is scope for plenty of personal attention for questions and specific interests. Anna was kind enough to research the NZ machine gunners' contribution and battle positions for our tour, as we'd given her a bit of notice. Anna was exceptionally knowledgeable and informative. Her opinions on General Mark Clark were in line with my late grandfather's!

Excellent tour for WW2 history buffs - Anna was a friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining guide. She picked us up from the Cassino station and spent several hours with us. We visited various sites that were relevant to the events of 1944. Anna is a Cassino local and her knowledge about the events that occurred during the battles for Cassino was incredible. Anna answered my many questions and was the perfect guide for a WW2 history buff like myself. She even dropped us at our accommodation at the end of the tour! If you’re going to Cassino make sure you book a tour with Anna, I cannot recommend her enough! 5/5

Fantastic tour - Myself and three friends had a fantastic tour with Anna on the morning of 27th June . We had multiple stop offs at places related to the battle and she was a real font of knowledge, explaining everything about the battle and surrounding area in great detail . The drive up to the monastery is stunning and well worth the effort . Would definitely recommend and it’s a big thanks from four lads from Glasgow Anna , Chin chin ..

10 out of ten Tour - We took the Monte Cassino Battlefield Tour as my father had fought there in WW2 as part of the Grenadier Guards Unit. Anna kindly agreed to move the Tour start time to 2pm as we were not able to get there by 9am.We all thoroughly enjoyed the day , as she had taken time out to research my Dad's route through Cassino, and showed us actual photographs of what he would have seen at the time. She had an immense knowledge of the events and timelines and the area, which helped to build the picture of what he went through. She also took us to the Commonwealth Cemeteries, which was very moving .Also gave us a tour of the Abbey which was beautiful. Can't recommend this lady enough-she was thoroughly entertaining and kind, as well as willing to impart of the knowledge she held. Five star Tour by a five star lady. Big thankyou and love to Anna.
