Experience the gorgeous scenery of Lake Como and stroll through the magnificent Villa Melzi gardens in Bellagio. Our guided walk will begin in downtown, proceed to the Villa Melzi gardens and then utilize a short, ten-minute public ferry boat ride to traverse the lake to Varenna. In Varenna, we’ll explore the magnificent Villa Monastero followed by the medieval St. George’s church and downtown Varenna. Please be aware that fees for villa entries and ferry transfers are not included in the tour price and must be settled at local counters. Take note that this is not a private boat tour, but a trip across the lake on a public ferry from Bellagio to Varenna and back. The assembly point for the tour is Bellagio, Piazza Mazzini,30 (directly outside Hotel du Lac, the yellow building). It’s worth mentioning that from November to March, the Villa Monastery and Villa Melzi are closed, and the tour will only visit the downtown areas of Bellagio and Varenna.

Best Tour Guide in Northern Italy! - Giorgio was a phenomenal tour guide. He showed us everything we wanted to see and did even extra when he didn’t even have too. He did not give us a hard time at all and was very accommodating. He had great recommendations for everything. I have used Viator before and Giorgio was the best tour guide and driver I ever had. He genuinely cared about us having a great time and did everything to make sure of it by making sure we saw everything wherever we went. Giorgio was funny, genuine, down to earth and gave us a lot of historical information about the places we visited. He was also very responsive with messages and made last minute changes with no issues. I definitely recommend any tour guides by Giorgio and give him 10/10 and five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sormano , Bellagio and varenna tour - This was an excellent guided tour by Giorgio - he was extremely knowledgeable , very engaging and super flexible with the tour - we covered as much as 250 kms today starting with a pick up from my hotel at 9:30 am , going to Sormano to watch the Beautiful snowclad peaks to Bellagio and then a public ferry to varenna which to me was an absolutely incredible experience - the icing on the cake was a last minute decision of ours to go to Lugano - Giorgio was extremely patient throughout and was able to give a very clear and concise historical context to whatever we were viewing ! Thank you Giorgio for a truly incredible experience!

A Perfect Day in Bellagio and Varenna - Bellagio and Varenna are both beautiful and so different. Giorgio was our private guide and he perfectly planned the day for us. Ferry rides, gorgeous gardens, cute shops and lots of people watching. Perfect day. Thank you.

Loved our tour and the guide - Giorgio was a great guide....very flexible which really worked for us, as I wanted to see a different villa. The tour was amazing and the sites were beautiful. It is definitely worth it going with a guide, rather than winging it on your own...you learn so much more details!

Great tour - Giorgio was very flexible with our schedule and catered the tour to the things we wanted to see. He was fun and engaging, and a great tour guide. We had a short stay in Lake Como and saw a lot more than we would have on our own.
