Fun! - These guys have one single goal - for you to have a good time. They know the area and take you to amazing reefs for snorkeling and diving. They pour drinks freely, but the trip is appropriate for both families and couples.

Grace Bay doesn’t suck. - Beautiful beach which is easily the best area to stay as well. Sunset Beach beach is a little more chill and only a short drive.

Snorkeling in Turks and Caicos - I enjoyed my snorkeling trip a great deal! Pops was Captain and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. The crew was great and made you feel comfortable and welcome! I’d highly recommend him and the crew! Despite this being one of the best snorkeling experiences I’ve ever had, I was disappointed in a couple things that would improve the overall experience; 1) I desperately wish there would have been photos to purchase. When I snorkeled there were fish everywhere and sharks very nearby. I would’ve have paid top dollar for photos taken in the water. 2) the snorkels. We were in rough water with pretty high waves due to the winds. The snorkels did not have the tops that kept water from coming in. It would have helped tremendously with the 2-4’ waves we experienced to not have water coming over the snorkel.

Highly recommend! - This was such a great experience. The crew was great! We saw lots snorkling, got to see a dolphin on the trip around the island and Iguana island did not disappoint. The half day was the perfect amount of time. Would HIGHLY recommend this experience.

Mediocre excursion - Nice place to snorkel, but for the price, it was short and that was the only place. We could have gone there from the shore. Iguana Island wasn’t very exciting. The crew took and hour break. I don’t need to be constantly entertained, but I felt there could have been more.

Save your money - go to Smith's Reef - After a recommendation from a family member, my cousins, husband and I signed up for a 4 hour afternoon snorkeling, etc tour on the Big Boy Caicos Dream Tours boat on Sunday February 25. The boat was 30 minutes late – we were the last to board from Ocean Club Resort. The crew did not welcome us nor acknowledged they were late, and did not offer flotation devices, goggles or flippers while the rest of the guests had them. Guests continued to wait an additional 20 minutes while the driver waited for his hot lunch from the small restaurant between Ocean Club Resort and Club Med (meanwhile there was plenty of food on board; we noticed this happened with another CDT boat later the following week). The boat captain then took us to a sub par snorkeling location not far from the NE point of Provo. There was only 1 other boat there and we noticed several boats further off shore – we assume the crew was trying to make up time by taking us to a closer location. We asked for flotation devices and the crew said there were none in our size. I found one that fit but a crew member took it from my hands saying it wouldn’t. A crew member asked my husband if he could swim – he said yes but felt more comfortable with flotation – he was told he’d be fine without. I again grabbed a small flotation which fit (there were ~20 small flotation bands left but no large ones and the boat was not at capacity). My husband noticed a slim guest with a too-large band and asked if he could take hers and offered a small flotation band which fit her. We brought our own snorkel masks and my husband was cleaning the inside when a crew member took the mask and dipped it into a communal cleaning bucket – we did not ask for their help and this did not improve the mask. While we were getting in the water, an elderly guest got locked in the bathroom for 20 min. Crew couldn’t open the door. Our cousin pulled hard on the door and got it open. After snorkeling (and seeing few fish) we reboarded. Crew then brought out a tray of sandwiches but couldn’t tell us which side of the tray had ham and which had chicken – they were flippant about this and seemed annoyed they had to serve food to the guests. Then they came by with chips and we could barely get our hand in the box before they moved on. We were never offered drinks (which were included in the tour) and had to serve ourselves while crew played on their cell phones. In fact, at one point, the boat captain was on his cell as a seadoo driver was coming towards the front of the boat who was taking selfies – we came very close to colliding and boat captain didn’t even notice! This tour was late, rushed, crew was unwelcoming and did not engage with guests except to rush us off the boat for snorkeling and the iguana rock. The fact we were denied flotation is a safety concern that is not acceptable. We paid $140 US pp for a 4 hour excursion which ended up only being 3 hours, and were very disappointed. Sadly, the highlight of the tour was waiting the hour for the boat (we were told to arrive 30 min before scheduled pick up) – we saw 2 dolphins surface twice moving up the coastline at the pick up location. I emailed CDT and told them of our experience and received no response. Save your money! Got to Smith’s reef which has great snorkeling right off shore and it’s FREE!

Dangerous conditions and reckless of them not to cancel the excursion. - Terrible experience. Water too rough to go to the reef we were supposed to snorkel so they dropped us in the water quite a distance in front of the reef. Then, when everyone was getting swept away from the current, they called us back to the boat after about 5 minutes. Many people were struggling to swim in the current. It was extremely dangerous. They should have cancelled and rescheduled or refunded the trip. Total waste of money and very scary experience. I'm a good swimmer and really struggled to get back to the boat as did many others.
