- Embalse El Yeso - This expansive reservoir was established in 1964 by damming the Yeso River and currently serves as one of Santiago’s primary water sources.
- Tunel Ferroviario del Tinoco - The El Tinoco tunnel is a railway tunnel situated 15 kilometers from San José de Maipo. It is part of the G-25 Camino El Volcán route, in the El Jaboncillo Sector, located at kilometer 43.6 and is 493 meters long. Built between 1911 and 1914, it is recognized as a Historical Monument because it was part of the route of the old military railway (now a historic train), connecting the municipality of Puente Alto to the city of El Volcán. This stop is optional for the guide, depending on the cleanliness of the area or the weather conditions.
- Casa Chocolate Tienda Boutique - The Chocolate House is one of the most renowned and iconic tourist attractions in the Cajón del Maipo area, a must-visit for many tour operators. Beautiful place to visit. - Breathtaking scenery, peaceful mountain vibes, Cajón del Maipo is a hidden gem, worth the trip. Cajón del Maipo is a stunning escape just outside Santiago, Chile, nestled in the Andes Mountains.

Amazing walk! - As the Cajon del Maipo was closed, the agency Aprendi to Travel Chile took us to the Portillo and Laguna del inca, which is an amazing tour! The guide Marlon was very attentive, introduced the history of the locations and even took excellent photos of the class.

Incredible landscapes - We did the tour with the agency Discover Chile and the driver Mr Danny Guerrero ué was punctual, very friendly, explained very well every part of the route, knows the region well and gave us time for photos in the incredible landscapes. The place of the therms is quite rustic without much structure only bathroom and dressing room very uncomfortable. The waters are quite warm though but I did not enjoy because the weather was very cold. At the end of the tour we won a pic nic with wine, juice and snacks. I found everything great

Amazing trip and unforgettable view ! - The Santiago cajon del maipo and yeso trip was amazing ! The views are spectacular and picturesque! Our tour guide Neil did a fantastic job ! Everything was well explained in both Spanish and English! After the morning pick up we were taken to a breakfast stop along the way before our journey began ! Food was great and very affordable! The drive to the location was about one hour long and the views of the Andes Mountains just incredible! Love the music along the way and the history Neil shared at each stop ! Ample time were given for pics and free time to explore! Love the picnic area , the wine tasting and the assorted snacks ! Neil really showed us a great time and is a beautiful soul ! Did not hesitate to Lend me his jacket for the entire day because I had none ! He is such a treasure! Don’t hesitate to try this tour ! You won’t regret ! Hope you get Neil as your tour guide ! Enjoy

Kitchen trip to get to know the gevibg - The tourguds Alexis and the driver 👍 were 👍. The tour was well organized. Have been able to take beautiful pictures of a beautiful environment where the. pictures near the crater became very nicely acidic 😀.

Excellent - Alex is a great guy. He was right on time at the pickup spot. Easy to communicate. A bit of humor on the way along with some geological history. Gave me (and others) ample amount of time to explore around.
The wine and snacks at the end of the tour was a pleasant surprise.

Avoid This Agency at All Costs – Unreliable, Unresponsive, and Completely Unprofessional - This was by far the worst experience we had during our entire trip. My husband booked a tour to Cajón del Maipo through this agency via GetYourGuide. The listing clearly stated pickup at 5:00 AM, with confirmation to be sent the night before. That confirmation *never* came.
We tried to contact the agency through GetYourGuide the night before to ask for our pickup time, but they were unreachable even then. Despite that, we still followed the 5:00 AM pickup time listed in the advertisement and were outside our hotel, ready and waiting from 4:45 AM — just in case they arrived early. We stood in the cold, tired and hopeful, but no one ever showed up.
We also tried calling the agency directly: no answer. We reached out to GetYourGuide again the morning of the tour, and they confirmed that the agency was still completely unreachable. They had our phone number, our email, and could have easily messaged us through the GetYourGuide platform — but they didn’t. No communication whatsoever.
This was our last day in Chile, and because of this agency’s complete lack of professionalism, we missed out on visiting Cajón del Maipo — something we had planned and looked forward to for a long time.
I’ve attached a screenshot of our communication with GetYourGuide, which proves that the agency was completely unreachable and failed to fulfill their responsibilities.
This company is absolutely unreliable. If you value your time, your money, or your sanity, stay far away from them. They shouldn’t be allowed to continue operating
