- Vjosa Valley protected area - Funky Guest House and Adventures invites you to join them on this amazing horse trekking trip. We operate in both sides of Vjosa river which is the last wild river in Europe and National Park. One of the most visited attractions in the south of Albania. A perfect place that is known for its traditional cuisine, hospitality, characteristic villages like Benja, Ogdunani, Leuse, Badlonje with its stone houses, cobblestones, cold-water springs and old churches with amazing paintings. Based on the experience of the riders, they will choose the trail that you will follow, but the favorite is alongside the beautiful Lengarica canyon which is an old trail that used to connect several villages in the area during ancient times. On these trails you will cross beautiful landscape, visit old villages, churches, valleys, springs where we will stop for a short break for some snacks, fruits and local wine. These are beautiful trail as you will pass gorgeous hills, breathtaking views, beautiful canyon, old ruins, and probably, come across sheep herds and goats. After the trip, you can enjoy the thermal baths which are 20min way from our town where you can relax in the pools and explore the canyon.

We will meet at 8:30 am in front of Funky Guest House & Adventures, where we will travel for 15 minutes by a 4x4 jeep to funky ranch, so you will also enjoy a bit off-roading experience during this adventure.

Amazing experience - Had a blast, so much fun! The view was amazing, the horses was easy to ride and the tour guides were incredible. Would absolutely recommend! 🐴

Very satisfied belgians🤠 - Best horse riding experience and favourite part of our trip in Albania! We were able to go with the help of two instructors. The instructors are very friendly and gentle with their horses. It is suitable for different levels of horse riding experience, they will give you helpfull tips and tricks. There is a break where they foresee enough drinks and snacks. We definitely recommend to reserve your activity with this organisation to enjoy the nature in a fun ecological way 😊🐴

A beautiful day in the Albanian mountains. - The landscape was breathtaking and the ride was beautiful. The horses were very well behaved. The tour guides were very nice and helpful. We took a break in between, the view was beautiful and we were given drinks and snacks. A wonderful trip!

An absolutely amazing and unique experience a stunning Albanian National Park - What an absolutely amazing experience we had with Funky Adventures on their 4 hour horse riding tour through Vosja National Park! This tour had the best views, a great ambience created by the tour guide, was extremely well organised (for riders of all levels) and the photos/videos that the tour guide made are stunning! For everyone who is searching for an absolutely unique experience we would definitely recommend this horseback riding tour with Funky Adventures!

Best horse riding experience ever! - Best horse riding experience ever! We loved every second, the horses were lovely and well cared for. Avenir was the best guide and dj! We rode across beautiful countryside over looking the river, passing lots of stunning views and animals! Sheep even joined us when we stopped for a snack and sangria break. Avenir made sure to take lots of amazing photos and videos of us and we honestly couldn’t recommend this ride enough!
We also stayed in the guest house which was lovely, really clean and comfortable rooms and a good buffet style breakfast!
This was by far the highlight of our Albania trip!

Great experience which we wouldn’t want to miss ☺️ - A perfectly planned and unforgettable experience! We had a great time with Avenir, the dog and the horses. You can tell that the horses are very well cared for and they know how to behave. Avenir brought some snacks and Sangria which we enjoyed under a big tree in company of the horses and sheep 😀 We won’t forget this experience and can definitely recommend it!

Fantastic horse ride in the mountains! - Best horse ride we've done. Fantastic guides, horses and nature made this an unforgettable experience. Halfway we stopped for good drinks and snacks while the fallows grazed along the slope. Thank you for a lovely day!

Great Horse Ride Experience - We stayed at the Funky Guest House. Avenir, his family and staff are very friendly. We also booked the horse riding experience at the Funky Guest House. You do not need any experience to ride the horse. During the tour Avenir gave us tips how to handle the horses. Halfway we had a stop with drinks and snacks. We highly recommend this Horse Ride Experience.
