- Vjosa Valley protected area - Funky Guest House and Adventures invites you to join them on this amazing horse trekking trip. We operate in both sides of Vjosa river which is the last wild river in Europe and National Park. One of the most visited attractions in the south of Albania. A perfect place that is known for its traditional cuisine, hospitality, characteristic villages like Benja, Ogdunani, Leuse, Badlonje with its stone houses, cobblestones, cold-water springs and old churches with amazing paintings. Based on the experience of the riders, they will choose the trail that you will follow, but the favorite is alongside the beautiful Lengarica canyon which is an old trail that used to connect several villages in the area during ancient times. On these trails you will cross beautiful landscape, visit old villages, churches, valleys, springs where we will stop for a short break for some snacks, fruits and local wine. These are beautiful trail as you will pass gorgeous hills, breathtaking views, beautiful canyon, old ruins, and probably, come across sheep herds and goats. After the trip, you can enjoy the thermal baths which are 20min way from our town where you can relax in the pools and explore the canyon.

Perfect day in the mountains! - We had an unforgettable hike through the beautiful mountains of Permet and along the river side Vjosa. The spring blossoms, shepherds with sheep on the way provide a beautiful landscape and gave us splendid pictures....
We loved every moment of it.

Unmissable Albania on horseback - We had an absolutely brilliant day with Avenir horse-trekking in the hills surrounding Permet. It was the most incredible experience and a highlight of our trip to Albania. Avenir was so friendly and kind. He took lots of brilliant photos and videos throughout so we were left with a great collection of memories. We would recommend as a must for anyone visiting Albania.

Unforgettable horse riding experience - My husband and I throughly enjoyed the horse riding activity with Funky Adventures. The guides were entertaining, kind and ensured our safety from beginning until the end. The views we saw were nothing short of amazing! Spring was springing, and overall this was an experience we will not soon forget. Shout out to our guides Avenir and Lili, Joey the dog, and of course our gorgeous horses Chili and George 💖 Thank you Funky Adventures! We shall see you again next time

Amazing , brilliant , DON'T MISS OUT - What an amazing experience! Don't miss out. The views , the horses , the service. Absolutely stunning. We were a bit hesitant when we first booked the trip because none of us had any prior experience riding but the tour guides definitely came through and took all measures for us to feel safe and well prepared for the experience. It's absolutely brilliant

Fabulous trekking - fantastic trekking in spectacular scenery. Host was friendly, knowledgeable and, above all, extremely safety conscious. Lovely mixture of participants, good-natured ponies and well-deserved lunch with fruit and sangria. Book thus trekk, you won't regret it!

Great experience in the nature of Albania - There were only two of us and it was basically a private tour. The communication was great. We left on time and were given instructions afterwards. We felt safe on the horses and can recommend this adventure in Permet.
It was a lot of fun, thank you very much for that.

5 Stars for a ride out on 4 legs - We went to Funky's Amazing Horse Riding Adventure and had a really great time.
Avenir is a very kind guide and pays attention to all his "flock". And Lili also seems very nice.
Besides a ride on super well maintained and well kept horses, we got to see the full beauty of Permet's surroundings and were also fortified for the way back during the break with fresh fruit, cookies, water and a good sip of sangria.
We were a small group and felt well taken care of at all times. Who dares it, is also allowed to ride faster with his horse.
All in all, a great experience, which Avenir also sweetened with free pictures and videos in the episode.
