Taxi would have been better - No one met us as we exited baggage claim which was the whole reason I signed up for a private transport being a first timer to Portugal. We were contacted by the company who told us our scheduled driver could not be reached but they were sending a back up driver. It was a little difficult to figure out where to meet our backup driver. Eventually we met him. There was some sort of issue with the address the hotel sent me and the driver because we were taken to a location not at all close to where we needed to be. Eventually we got to the right location and the employee from the hotel had to ride with us to our lodging. The driver seemed to be annoyed with the situation. Wasn’t the worst but taking a taxi would have been easier. And cheaper.
