Tailored to the preferences of my guests, the tour can be personalized based on their desired destinations or interests. After a brief discussion with the guests to understand their preferences, I can craft a bespoke itinerary on the spot that meets their wishes.
The suggested pickup time is flexible. Guests are free to select their preferred pickup time, subject to coordination with the guide.

Awesome trip with a real local guide to see places you've never seen before! - Definitely the best way to explore Madeira and get awesome tips for the rest of your trip. We had an amazing first day on Madeira with Valdemar and his 4WD car - you'll definitely see places, you'd never see on your own. We got so many tips for our vacation, that it was worth every single euro and Valdemar is a really great guy!

Amazing trip for the whole family - Winding roads through green hills of east Madeira, passing by small villages and farms. Stopping at a miradouro, taking in the breathtaking ocean views and exploring hidden levada trails. Beautiful scenery, variety of fruits and a lot of positivity from Valdemar. Highly recommended!

Fantastic tour, very knowledgeable and great guy. - Really great trip, Val was really attentive and personable. He’s got genuine and deep knowledge of the island and real pride in his country, which came across and was appreciated and refreshing to hear
He makes you feel like he’s there for you. He did his homework on us and really tailored the tour, down to the freshest poncha.
Worth noting this service wasn’t a one off and I was introduced by my son who went a few year back and also had a great experience with Val. Would definitely go again.

Absolutely amazing tour! - In 8 hours we got a lot of unforgettable impressions - we saw places which we never would come to otherwise, hidden gems of Madeira, astonishing views and we got tons of information about history, culture, traditions, food etc. Val, our guide, is a brilliant driver and fantastic person, he makes sure everyone is happy. If you only have time for one tour while here - choose any tour with Val, it's so worth it!

8 hours of pure joy - The most spectacular tour ever! We've seen so much under 8 hours, I'll need several days to process all impressions. Val (our guide) is amazing person - so much knowledge of Madeira and so skilful driver! He took us places we would never find otherwise! We're so grateful!

A beautiful tour through Madeira's east - Valdemar drove us safely through the east of Madeira on what were at times adventurous routes. He had a lot to tell us and was able to answer all of our questions in detail. His German is excellent.
With his driving skills and the four-wheel drive car, we were able to discover many places that you can't get to with a rental car. He was happy to adapt the tour to our needs. We were able to try super delicious Poncha and ate really traditional Madeiran food.
I can only recommend Valdemar and this tour in particular.

Amazing tour with Val - This was quite possibly the most enjoyable tour we’ve ever done. Val is superb and showed us many beautiful places in Madeira. His English is perfect, he has a charming personality and kept us engaged the entire day. We went above the cloud line towards sunset which was beautiful. Enjoyed lunch with a fantastic view. Visited local bars for typical drinks. Visited rum distillery. Hiked in the woods. And got background on the history and culture of Madeira the entire day. Open air 4WD vehicle allowed us to explore where others couldn’t go. Very enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Excellent and unique tours offered by a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. - Having spent an excellent day with Val in 2021 on his ‘Let me surprise you tour’ we had no hesitation in booking him for a further 2 days on our return to Madeira.
Val took us on fantastic journeys around the East of the island exploring areas that very few people visit and gave us a wonderful insight into the flora, fauna, geography and history of the island. He listens to your preferences and tailors his tours accordingly. He is great company and we felt like we were being shown the island by a good friend.
Val is a great driver and has the perfect vehicle to allow off-road excursions and provide unhindered views.
We highly recommend him if you are after something unique and different from the numerous standard tours on offer. You will not be disappointed.

a highlight - really recommendable - I can only recommend a trip with Valdemar to anyone who is on holiday in Madeira. It was an unforgettable experience. Lots to see and learn, combined with culinary delights (local, of course) and adventure. He took us to beautiful viewpoints in his jeep (open at the top). Sometimes we took shortcuts that were a bit like a safari. He always told us and explained.
There were also wild fruits straight from the tree. We were able to taste Madeira rum and for lunch we went to a mountain restaurant with typical dishes - simply wonderful! In the afternoon we didn't have coffee but poncha with fresh local lemons - soooo delicious. Finally we went up to one of the highest peaks in Madeira (above the clouds)
