The highlight of our honeymoon. - We have been traveling around Colombia for the past two weeks for our honeymoon. One thing we were eager to do was a horseback ride in the countryside. Wow, this certainly did not disappoint. We were mind-blown by the incredible views we saw. The horses were easy to ride, and we were able to even get some cantering in over the course of the 2-hour ride, capping it off with a delicious lunch. I can't forget to mention Andres, who was an amazing host. He truly made the whole occasion all the more special and unique for us, as well as being incredibly informative. Thank you, Andres, for what has to be one of our favorite days of our honeymoon. I can’t recommend this trip more highly.

Andres of LandVentures Travel in Colombia - Andres of land venture travels was an excellent guide for both horseback riding and in the city of Medellin. I highly recommend booking, horseback, riding and city tours with Andres. He provides excellent opportunities and commentaries. I’m definitely going back. He was also very considerate about planning parallel activities for my husband and me. My husband has some mobility problems, but Andres was able to accommodate his needs as well as engaging with me.

This is why we travel - These kind of experiences make you realize how amazing is travelling, meeting people from other countries and learning about their culture. We had an amazing experience with Andrés. A private tour for 2 took us to a local coffee farm, to a little town of Concordia and to horseback riding onto the hills of Andes. From start to finish it was all very personal experience, more like going on a tour with an old friend. Andrés is a very knowledgable man with lots of interesting stories to share. The highlight for us was the horseback riding which I highly recommend to book. It was amazing to ride through the hills and plains of nearby mountains. It's impossible to express the beauty of the scenery we encountered during that, but I'm certain that this remains as one of the highlight of our travels in Colombia. Thank you again Andrés!

A unique experience - This was a great day trip from start to finish. Andres picked us up at our apartment in Medellin and we headed out to his finca about 1.5 hours from the city. Along the way he pointed out the sights and gave us insight on what can be found in the area. The finca itself is beautiful and high up in the mountains. The horses were well cared for and very calm which was great for us as inexperienced riders. We headed out along with the caretaker of the finca on a trail ride through a neighboring cattle ranch. The mountain views were incredible to say the least. The trail passed through fields with the occasional group of cattle, up and down hills, through forest, and other varied terrain. We arrived back at the finca for a delicious lunch of chicharron, beans, patacones, and rice. Andres then drove us back to Medellin. This was a great personalized experience that I will never forget. If you want to see the Colombian Andes countryside from horseback this is the experience for you. Highly recommended.

Best way to explore the Andes - We had a great time with Landaventure Travel and its guide Andres, a native from the area. I did the tour with my wife and my teenage son. The booking process was seamless. We discussed our preferences and they customized the tour for our family. They followed the schedule on perfect timing and the entire team was very friendly and helpful. The guide spoke perfect english and the horse ride was a pleasure. I would strongly recommend it as a great way to discover the amazing geography of the Andes, the Cauca river and the extensive fauna and flora of the country. It is a great way to help the local small business. As a matter of fact, I have shared this with all my friends and family and hope they can visit Medellin and have a tour with Landventure Travel.

BOOK NOW! - Let me start of this review by saying: This tour is SO MUCH BETTER than portrayed in the advertisement. Waw a huge thanks goes to Andres and the man who takes care of the finca, his son and the woman who cooked, for giving me and my family a spectacular tour. This is without a doubt one of THE BEST tour we went to while being in Medellin. We were far from the city so we felt really connected with nature. The espectacular views we had while horseback riding can't even be put into words, just AMAZING (I wish I could be able to insert pictures in this review, If I could.. you would've already booked without hesitation😆). Let's talk about food for a minute, the chicharron was to DIE FOR!! the patacon and the special sauce is a MUST try!! the beanss omg we enjoyed every bit of the food even the agua de panela that she made (we were thirsty after the horseback riding so we floored it real quick). All in all, an amazing tour with my family and we felt at home with everyone there who made the trip even more memorable. Thank you Andres❤️

Fabulous Horse Riding Adventure - It was an incredible experience.. a full day adventure eating an authentic Colombian lunch, riding the horse up and down hilly areas with unforgettable views and the workout was an added bonus as well.

Cattle Ranch Horseback Riding! What an experience!! - WOW! What can I say but I would give this 10 stars if I could! This was my first horseback riding tour in Colombia and I did it with Andres. I had such an unbelievable, breathtaking experience. I called him and booked the day before and he was able to squeeze us in for a tour. Andres was super friendly and an awesome guide who also spoke English and Spanish, he’s also very knowledgeable. I ended up choosing the cattle ranch riding tour and it did not disappoint! He was accommodating to payment methods and picking us up from hotel in the morning and provided us water for the trip. The horses you get to ride are from his very own farm. I can tell they are very well taken care of and healthy and also well behaved! We had an authentic Colombian lunch before taking off to ride. He will tailor to your riding experiences but I told him I had experiences riding so we were able to gallop during the flatter part of the ride. The view through the acres was so beautiful. He explained many things to us so I felt that I learned a lot. He also has fresh eggs from his chicken and his own roasted coffee so be sure to pick some up after the ride. It was a full day of trip, about 1.5 hr to the farm, 2 hrs ish for the ride. Overall I had such a wonderful experience for my first tour in Colombia, especially being a horse lover this was a thrill and an experience I’ll never forget. I look forward to other tours with Andres and LandVenture Travel in the future. Thank you again!
