- Folgefonna - Depart from your hotel in Bergen at 9am and return around 7pm. On the way to Hardangerfjord, view mountains, lakes and waterfalls before stopping at two waterfalls, Fossen Bratte (Bridal Veil) and Steinsdalsfossen. After a stop at the waterfall, you will drive through the town of Norheimsund and cross Hardangerfjord by ferry. Your ferry arrives in Jondal, where ascent to the glacier and to Folgefonna summer ski center along a mountain road begins. On your way you will see beautiful and harsh mountain landscapes with lakes and waterfalls that will leave a lasting impression. You arrive at the glacier around 12pm. Next you will have a break to have a snack in the caf near the glacier (included). Climbing the glacier is not an option, but you can come close to its cooling freshness. On the way back you will take a ferry across Hardangerfjord before being returned to your hotel.

Embark on a 10-hour day trip from Bergen to the Folgefonna Glacier with your personal guide, starting from your hotel. Your journey, following route number 7 towards Hardangerfjord, will be adorned with breathtaking views of mountains, lakes, and waterfalls. Along the route, pauses will be made to admire two waterfalls, Bridal Veil (Fossen Bratte) and Steinsdalsfossen. Post the waterfall visits, you will traverse through the town of Norheimsund and a ferry ride across the Hardangerfjord will lead you to Jondal. This is where you ascend towards the glacier and the Folgefonna summer ski center, with an estimated arrival time around noon. During the mid-day rest, grab a bite at the nearby café (included in the package). Though you cannot climb the glacier, a close encounter is possible. The return trip will also involve a ferry cruise over Hardangerfjord, concluding with a drop-off at your hotel.
