Travel from Phnom Penh to Taing Bompong Community
Kampong Speu - Leaving at 4:30 am at Phnom Penh (Pick up at National Pediatric Hospital or pickup as a private group (start from 2 people). Travel from Phnom Penh to a village about 150km with offering breakfast on the way at a Local restaurant. After breakfast leave from the restaurant to the village along the local road (35km) and Arrive at the village Tang Bampong protection forest local community around 9:30 am start preparing your stuff and taking your lunch pack from a local guide and start taking a tractor about 1.30h from the village to the base mountain. Start hiking with a lunch break along the trails and will be arriving around 15:00. When arrived campsite Install your tent and enjoy waterfall bathing (about 1KM trek)and back to enjoy the sunset view next to our campsite and have dinner gathering and talk about the local community and sharing session.

Khnang Phsa Mountain is situated in the proximity of Koh Kong province, near the Kampong Spue Border. It stands 1177 meters high, nestled within the Central Cardamom mountains. The area is an ecological gem, boasting verdant fields enveloped in mist and clouds, providing a consistently cool and unpolluted atmosphere throughout the year, revealing some of Cambodia’s most secluded and stunning landscapes.
Our journey will involve both hiking and being transported by tractor. We’ll cover approximately 12 km from the local village to our camping area, shouldering our backpacks the entire way. The path includes a challenging ascent over rocks with about four major inclines, culminating in a panoramic viewpoint.
