Your driver will drop you at the main gate. You will go to the tourist center to purchase your entrance and golf tickets. A golf cart will take you to the ticket-checking machine. Then you will need about 15 minutes to walk to the General Tower from the ticket-checking machine. When you are on the wall, from the General Tower, turn left and hike towards the Eastern Five Window Tower. Start your epic experience and hike on this remarkable Great Wall of China. Explore the beautiful and stunning wall at your own pace. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking views. At the Eastern Five Window Tower, there is a trail to go down the hill and take you to the East Gate Parking Lot. Your driver will wait for you at the East Gate Parking Lot. Please bring your own lunch. There is no lunch available at the Great Wall. The farmers only sell cup noodles. You will hike for about 3-4 hours at your own pace. (Please don’t go west from the General Tower.) At the end of the tour, your driver will take you back to your central hotel. It will be the highlight of your trip to China and a memorable experience that you will always cherish.
