African safari experience of a life time! - Meru Slopes was great! Total of 11 days in Tanzania, and Zanzibar. North and south in the Serengetti, the crater, Masai village, Our guide Moody was very experienced, showed us some incrediable things! We saw at least 35 different animals an birds, from a family of lions devouring a freshly killed bullfalo, a new born giraffe calf trying to take its first steps, and the wilderbeest migration, an more! Sleeping out in the tented lodge where the animals roamed hearing their sounds at night, sitting out on the hotel deck seeing the animals stroll by, to the rock mountain beautiful Lobo lodge nestled in the rocks, with a fantastic view of the serengetti. The wilderbeest migration was one of the highlights, Our guide Moody was able to put us right in perfect position to experience this incrediable event. He was very friendly, very knowledgeable, an always saw to our needs and comfort. From the plains of the serengetti to Zanzibar, beautiful tropical island, crystal clear waters. From swimming with dolphins, snorkeling the reefs, massive tortoises, spice tour, local culture and food, Meru Slopes was able to deliver. Everything went smooth, no glitches. Would definitely recommend then for your own personal tour!

Meru Slopes Safaris: One in a million - We have just completed a 6 day private lodge safari tour with Meru Slopes. What a fantastic experience! After a long search through tripadvisor, we made the only right choice! Meru Slopes distinguishes itself by, among other things, offering a free overnight stay in a hotel before and after the safari. Our accommodations were top notch, with the luxurious Kubu Kubu Lodge as the highlight. Moreover, this company offers free wifi in the jeep during the entire safari, which meant extra luxury. Communication with Geoffrey, the boss, was very smooth. We stayed in the lodges we preferred. Everything was possible and personalized. Secondly, we had a very good guide that you should ask for if you want to go on safari with Meru Slopes. Muddy, was great for several reasons. * He was very friendly and did just about anything asked. * Muddy knows a lot and is also concerned about nature. As he himself says: "All the animals are my favourites". * He really knows all the other guides so he had the right contact at the right time to find the right animal. We saw it all and more... * We were able to follow the great wildebeest migration closely through the expertise of our guide. * Muddy also had the nice quality of not saying what we were going to see, which made it always exciting until the last minute. We can therefore only recommend choosing Meru Slopes and if possible, with Muddy as a guide. Thanks to him we made an unforgettable journey. Amazing private experience - My girlfriend and I chose Meru Slopes for our first Safari in Tanzania (and first Safari in general). The communication with Geofrey, the manager, was great from the beginning. The plan, the trip, the car, and specially Innocent - the driver, and Eric - the chef, were awesome. People make the difference when it comes to experiences like this, and they both were amazing. We are so glad we chose Meru Slopes after checking hundreds of different tour options. What a memories we made! - What a memories we made! Loved it! We did the private 6 day safari with ranger Benson and chef Chadi, with an extra hike-day on the Kilimanjaro. In advance we had contact with Geofrey in the office about the program. He had allways a friendly and quick respond. Arriving in Arusha everything was well arranged. We started in the Green Mountain hotel. That's a nice place to start the journey. Benson and Chadi picked us up in the jeep with open rooftop. They drove us to the awesome National parks (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara) and showed us all the things you hope for. We were very lucky to see so many animals and even the migration. Camping in the parcs was an wonderfull adventure. In the morning, afternoon and evening chef Chadi suprised us with fresh and nice meals. The one day trip to the Kilimanjaro was too much. From Arusha it's a long drive so we advise to do it from Moshi. We informed Meruslopes about our exeperience and they came to the hotel to discuss it with us. That was a good thing. We really recommend Meru Slopes for a wonderfull safari in Tanzania

Amazing Safari Experience - We had an incredibly great safari with meru slopes. Jacobo is the best safari guide you could ever wish for: Knowledgeable, funny, friendly, service-oriented and has a very good eye for spotting the animals even from a distance. From the pick-up at the airport to the farewell in Arusha, everything went very well: the car was in good condition, the selected hotels were great and the food during the safari was really delicious. The handling in advance with Geoffrey was also superb. Planning and payment went smoothly and we felt comfortable at all times. I can recommend Meru Slopes to anyone looking for a perfect partner for a Serengeti safari, and not just because of the value for money.

Amazing private safari experience! - My wife and I did a private safari for 6 days (Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and Lake Manyara) and it was just an outstanding experience every step of the way!! It was the first time in Tanzania and our first safari ever, so we were very picky and read a huge number of reviews, researched and reached out to more than 5 different companies, when choosing a tour. We decided to go with Meru Slopes and couldn’t have been happier with this decision! Already, before we booked, Geofrey, the owner of the company, was extremely helpful, he was very quick to reply to all our queries, adjusted the length of the tour and the itinerary. What was great as well - we could follow migration for one of our days in Serengeti without any impact on the price (this often comes at extra cost with other companies). We were very happy to find someone who could allocate for our needs and the price was very fair! Once we arrived in Tanzania everything went so smoothly! We met Geofrey on our first day and he explained to us all the details of the tour and also let us know that he upgraded our accommodation to even a better one. During the safari we had the most amazing time with our guide, Iddy, who explained us so much with us about the animals and all about local specifics. Iddy really knew his stuff and, as we learned studies several years to be a guide. He was just brilliant in navigating the parks and guided us to spot the Big 5 and much much more. We had 3 full days in Serengeti and thanks to Iddy each day we discovered something new that blew our mind all over again! He even drove us to see alligators! On top, Iddy is an amazing driver and we always felt very safe in the car. But most importantly- he is just very kind, welcoming and fun to chat and we were so happy to have met him! Our accommodation was just stunning. initially we booked the tour with accommodation in mid-range tents/lodges, but thanks to the upgrade that Geoffrey did for us, we experienced really luxury lodges with breathtaking views in every park that we stayed in. Additionally, we felt very comfortable during all the 6 days. During our tour every day we had a proper hot lunch with so much food that we even had leftovers. This is also something that really stood out for us, as we saw many companies just offered sandwiches for lunch, which is not good if you’re doing safari for several days. The car had wifi, which came in handy when we wanted to check our flight status or drop a message to the family. The nights before and after the safari and pick up/drop off at the airport were also included in the price - that was another great point. During the full trip we really felt that Iddy and Geofrey took care of every detail, we literally had nothing to worry about, all was taken care off and we could just relax and enjoy our holiday. We absolutely loved the full experience! Geofrey, Iddy and the full Meru Slopes team, thank you so much for making this one of the best trips in our lives! We truly fell in love with Tanzania and are already thinking of coming back and, when we do, we will for sure choose Meru Slopes again!

A Journey You Will Never Forget - It may sound like a cliche but for me this trip was the best time of my life so far. Everything was so well done and organized, I just didn't think of anything, only enjoyed the wildness and the animals. The Meru Slopes team just took care of the rest. I had a private 7-day safari and visited Tarangire NP, Ndutu, Central Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and Lake Manyara NP. We saw thousands of wildebeest, zebras, antilopes, gazelles, many elephants and giraffes, lots of lions, we spotted leopards and cheetahs too. Many other animals like hippos, hienas, warthogs, buffaloes, baboons, etc. We saw 3 rhinos in Ngorongoro crater too. I couldn't be happier - Big 5 was completed. It was the calving season and spotted baby elephants, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe calves and lion cubs too.  Accommodations - I tried all of them from a public campsite through a tented lodge to a luxury lodge. Honestly, most of it I enjoyed sleeping in the tent in the middle of Serengeti, seeing all the stars in the sky, and listening to hyenas' sounds in the night. I enjoyed every moment spent with these guys. Everything was fantastic, we had so much fun together. A few words for the DREAM team - Geogrey, Jacob and Mushi:     Geofrey - company manager - super cool and easy going. Very responsive with email communication. He will make sure you will go back home with a big smile on your face.     Jacob - the guide - great friend, you just need to trust him. He has amazing skills to find every wild animal. Super nice and friendly guy with eagle eyes and good heart.     Mushi - the Chef - another great friend. He is cooking amazing dishes, I can't believe someone can cook like that in the middle of the wild. Everything you can imagine - just fantastic food, you won't be disappointed. Also Mushi is a very positive person. We got everything in our car - tents, food, cold drinks. I had fresh hot food every day, cold drinks and a lot of fun. I am pretty sure you will enjoy every moment with these guys. Just don't forget to show your gratitude, they deserve it!  For me - I can't wait to go back.
