Explore one of the most enigmatic and secretive locations on Earth – the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. On a private tour of Chernobyl, you’ll witness the site of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and be enlightened about its sorrowful past, uncover the highly classified Soviet military facility Duga-3, also termed as the “Russian Woodpecker”. Furthermore, you’ll venture into the deserted city of Pripyat, an outstanding representation of a city established during the Soviet era and a vivid depiction of a human settlement completely reclaimed by nature.
- Passport name, number, expiry and country is required at time of booking for all participants
- A current valid passport is required on the day of travel
- Minimum age is 18 years
- IMPORTANT: a tour must be booked at least 5 days prior the date of travel, this time is needed to obtain all the permissions to enter the Chernobyl Zone

Outstanding Tour - Thanks to our Tour Guide Konstantyn we had an amazing experience.He went above and beyond.For example when he discovered that we wanted to feed the Dogs.He purchased some anti bacterial wipes for us and took us to a shop to purchase food for them.He made it so personal , which made the entire experience memorable.I loved the fact that he showed us images of the Town before nature took over as that gave us a real insight .His wealth of knowledge further enhanced the experience.

An amazing experience! - One of the best experiences we ever had! We booked this tour for 2 persons. Our guide, Maxim, was very helpfull, friendly and knows the place inside and out! He gave us a lot of information and arranged the tour in a different way, so we didn't see a lot of other tourists. (It's a popular location, and about 200-1500 tourists come here every day).
Pickup at the hotel in a nice, clean car. All english tour, no trouble communicating. An amazing experience!

Amazing Tour - We had a 1 day tour, it was amazing. A very cool and smart guide (max), comfy car. Had a pickup at our hotel, fast passes at the checkpoint, everything was perfect!

A memorable visit to a place the world must not forget! - We were a private group of four - two couples, very experienced travelers, but our tour with Konstantin to Chernobyl was one of the best and most memorable we’ve done anywhere in the world. Konstantin is very knowledgeable, could not only explain everything that we saw with great insight but also guided us to areas of the zone where we encountered few other visitors. To add to the solemnity of the site, the day we visited the weather was pretty grim ending with a massive thunderstorm. Nobody visiting Ukraine should miss Chernobyl

Amazing trip and excellent guide! - We had Konstantin as our tour guide, he was amazing. Very knowledgeable about the area and a great laugh through the whole day! 100% recommend and I will be using then again soon!

An amazing experience. - Had an amazing trip with our amazing guide. Would highly recommend booking through this company. Thoroughly interesting, whilst keeping away from the big groups making the tour more personal and private. Our trip was our five people along with two other pairs, so don't think it will necessarily be just your group. However I think this adds to the experience.
Thank you for being so helpful throughout the booking and providing us with a great tour guide.
Will definitely be using this company again when in Ukraine!

Pripyat, Chernobyl u. Power Plant - perfectly organized 2-day tour in the restricted area around the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Our guide has given us with precise background knowledge on the disaster through the deserted cities.
The pleasant host family on the edge of the restricted area offered us a much nicer accommodation than the 4 star hotel in Kiev.
On my next visit to the Ukraine, I would definitely go back to Green Tour Ukraine
