At its heart, Kings Landing is a historical museum. Boasting a collection of over 70,000 items, it stands as one of the most extensive repositories in Atlantic Canada. The narratives presented span a period of over 150 years, covering the Loyalist exodus during the American Revolution, the Victorian era, the inception of Canada, and the progression into the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
The museum is divided into the Exhibit Experience and the Village. Upon entering, you’ll encounter a range of informative exhibits that shed light on the historical journey you’ll undertake in the Village. There’s also a dedicated Kid Zone and a starting point for our guided tours. The Village itself is a hive of activity, featuring actors in period attire who bring to life the diverse history of New Brunswick, complete with authentic historical dwellings and amiable farm animals.
