Interesting museum - Be sure to listen to the audio guide so you can fully enjoy this collection. We’d arrived at 1, too late to be seated for the concert so we’ll return.

Great Experience at the Prague Castle - Beautiful place inside and out. Go early because it is quite busy in the afternoon. There is plenty to eat and drink after viewing the palace’s pure beauty.

Excellent choice of museum that offers many possibilities - This museum is an extension of the visit to the Castle. Collected by the family, it shows the many Collections they have (paintings, weapons, scores and musical instruments, precious or sacred objects) and restores them in their historical context. A lounge allows you to listen to a concert at 1pm (option for a fee). The shop is well stocked and even allows to buy house wines. The café-restaurant has a nice decor, a beautiful terrace with a magnificent view of Prague and a correct but limited menu. Awards are reasonable. Very good service. This should be done without taking into account the previous comments on the origin of the family fortune, which provide nothing relevant.

visit to the St. Vitus Cathedral area - Very beautiful collection of paintings in a very well appointed, very bright museum, giving the history of the Lobkowitz family and allowing a panoramic view of Prague

Fascinating History - A fantastic couple of hours spent wandering around this historic place. Definitely get the audio tour narrated by some members of the Lobkowicz family. One of the best things I saw was a music manuscript which had been edited by Mozart. Real history.

Very nice museum - Very beautiful collection including a very beautiful Bruegel. Part of the museum is dedicated to music (you can see a Guarneri cello there!). One of the best museums in Prague.

Wonderful small museum - THis was a wonderful exhibit of a family history and decorative arts and music. We enjoyed it although two of the rooms we wanted to see were closed. We had bought tickets ahead just before we came to the museum and they were discounting people who bought tickets there because of the closure but we had to really dispute to get any accomodation, which was vouchers for the restaurant. Would Still recommend as they were very polite.
