Additional Information

Prague occupies a cherished position in Jewish heritage. Today, the ancient Jewish Quarter in Prague remains as the most intact cluster of Jewish historical sites in all of Europe. Despite World War II, the Jewish Quarter and its Jewish Museum in Prague have endured, presenting us with a rare chance to view the area’s most comprehensive array of Judaica, encompassing silver, glass, textiles, manuscripts, and other scarce, valuable items.

The tour provides an understanding of 1000 years of Jewish history in the Czech Lands, accompanied by a stroll through four historic synagogues and the renowned Ceremonial Hall.

We will also journey to the renowned Old Jewish cemetery, one of the world’s most well-known cemeteries, established in the mid-15th century. Its walls safeguard some major personas not only of Josefov history, but of Central Europe in its entirety.

Throughout this three-hour tour, you will immerse yourself in the tale of the Jewish ghetto, witnessing its cyclical phases of development and decline.
