Enjoy this trip to the Czech countryside which offers a truly authentic Bohemian experience! First, we will take you to a family-operated goat farm where you will have the chance to pet and feed the goats while learning all about the traditional methods of raising these animals. During the excursion, you can taste the farm’s own goat cheese and goat milk. Next, we will drive to Zubrnice, a picturesque little village set in the scenic landscape of the Czech Middle Lands. Here, we will learn about the life of farmers before World War II. We will visit the historical town of Litomerice and show you the Terezín Memorial, a town-fortress built in the 18th century that served as a concentration camp during World War II. In the afternoon, we will climb to the ruins of the medieval Hasenburg Castle. This mysterious place has attracted romantic authors since the 19th century, offering both history and stunning views. On the way back to Prague, we will stop to see the unusual art of the Devil’s Heads.
