Great day in Pilzn - Our driver, Viktor, picked us up at the hotel. He was a wealth of information all along our travels. The glass factory tour was a great time ( I even got to etch a crystal glass myself.). We bought a few items and continued to Pilzn where we enjoyed a wonderful lunch a brewery tour. Great food, great beer, great fun. Thanks Viktor, for hosting our wonderful day. We learned so much!

A great day outside of Prague - Extremely interesting tours on 2 ends of the spectrum. We learned a lot at both stops—but really came to appreciate the artistry in the glass work. Many added historical bonuses!

Interesting - Both the places were very good, informative & interesting. Only our guide, for that day Mr Arthur was a very rude person & completely inconsiderate. Otherwise the trip was very nice & we enjoyed the day.

Glass and Brewery Tour, August 12, 2019 - Great tour. We had an excellent guide in Vladamir. Had a group of 7 people which was excellent. The glass factory is a tour that you dont want to miss. The brewery tour was excellent, as I had longed to visit. Also an excellent lunch at a restaurant owned by Mr. Tomas Hanak, Prague's gift to Hollywood. Great trip.

Awesome Day Trip! - We had a wonderful time visiting the brewery and glass factory. The process used to make the glass is incredible and you can buy beautiful glass for reasonable prices. The brewery is worth the trip and full of history. The beer is delicious as well. We would highly recommend this to others.

Fascinating - The on-site guide at the Pilsner Brewery was engaging, informative and delightful. The on-site guide for the Glass Factory was friendly and informative as well. They were pleasant, engaging and knowledgeable. The lunch offered in the package was delicious. We were late getting to the glass factory as we had to wait for a guide to accompany our transportation.

Nice glass, Good beer, Horrible tour company - We paid more for this tour than any on our month-long trip to Poland, but was looking forward to it. In a nutshell, the two destinations were great, informative, and fun. But the tour provider (Grey line tours I think) was beyond inept. The driver picked us up late from our hotel. On the way to the glass factory he got several calls about neglecting to pick up 3 passengers (swerving all over road while talking on phone). Driver couldn't find our restaurant for lunch and pulled over several times to ask locals for directions, sometimes driving wrong way down one-way streets. Lunch was nice once we got there. Driving to the brewery was a joke too. We passed the brewery entrance (which was clearly marked) several times, which would have been funny, except we were already running late to catch the last English tour of the day. By the time he figured out the brewery entrance and dropped us off, the only tour left was in German. Thankfully the only 2 people on that tour understood English, and the tour guide spoke enough broken English to attempt. I felt so sorry for our guide as he struggled for words at times, but he did a remarkable job under the circumstances. When finally returning to Prague we learned that we would be dropped off far from our hotels, and it would be up to us to find our way back. We all protested and insisted on being dropped back to our places of pickup. The driver even called his manager so we could talk to him ourselves, but shortly into the conversation he hung up on us. Everyone was livid. A $10 taxi ride got us back. Go visit these sites, but we strongly suggest you use a different tour company to take you!!!

Company would not take us on tour - We paid in advance online and had tickets downloaded. We arrived at the meeting point in the city and there was no official system or person to check our tickets. Then the tour guide and bus driver simply told us they would not being doing the tour. They made many excuses that its not a great time of year anyway for glass factory and that they were taking someone else on a trip to Vienna instead. No warning at all. I am attempting to get a refund but the company is not answering calls or emails from the Viator representative. Extremely unreliable company

Good tour. Very poor admin. - 2 emails requesting hotel pick up ignored. On arrival made numerous calls to local number provided. All had a recorded message in Czech so not understood. Mentioned to guide (Italian) on arrival at tour - not that concerned or unapologetic. Tour good although guide not very confident or knowledgeable.
