Additional Information

Embark on a day trip and experience a stroll around the globally renowned spa town, Karlovy Vary. This is the most celebrated spa destination in the Czech Republic, with its origins tracing back to the era of Charles IV in the 14th century. The wellness benefits of the town’s mineral springs were sought by prominent figures like Tsar Peter the Great and author Goethe. The Hot Spring, known for its therapeutic waters rising up as high as 12 m, is one of the prime attractions here. The city boasts a variety of both historic and modern colonnades and several naturally occurring mineral springs for tasting. We suggest sampling the delightful wafers and the traditional Becherovka liqueur, a unique concoction of herbs and spices. The tour may be conducted in multiple languages.

Geo thermal Karlovy Vary. - The guide was very pro. Spoke English and Spanish fluently. Gave us time to talk and ask. The organizer responded very fast to my phonecall. On the way the guide told us many interesting facts.

A very nice day trip with a good tour guide - Today my wife and I took a day trip from Prague to Karlovy Vary. I have booked it via Headout ( which wad a competitive offer) and booked the e-guild option. This morning , I tested the link i received from the person in the pickup location, and it turned out to be that it did not work . I have immediately been offered a free upgrade to a real tour guide . Eva, who was our group tour guide was wonderful . She is knowledgeable and very nice. We have followed Eva for about half of the day and then spent some time by ourselves . My take from this day trip is : With or without getting into one of the hot spas ( located in hotels ) Karlovy Vary has to offer , it is really a gem . The place is so beautiful . We took wonderful photos . As a bonus I have also learned that “Casino Royal” , the best Bond movie ( according to my opinion ) was filmed there ( check our the Pup hotel ) . A highly recommended day trip Eran

Beautiful hidden town - Was in Prague from Nov 5-8 and decided to do this tour. We were a small group of 4, which was nice. Our tour guide Martin picked us up at our hotels, as we were leaving Prague, he would also provide some highlights and history. When we arrived in Karlovy Vary, he walked us around town and pointed out the most historical places, he also showed us the famous Grand Hotel Pupp, then we had time to walk the town in our own and then finished with a lunch. The lunch was not great, and the server was not very pleasant, but that is not the fault of the tour guide. Would recommend this tour

Wonderful - We have just returned from excursion and we're so existed! We're so glad that while walking around Prague we saw a Best tour kiosk, where guy Tomash advised us this excursion. Many thanks to him and our guide Kamilla,it was so interesting, trip wasn't boring at all. And we managed to see during just one day the whole city center and bought souvenirs. Karlovy vary are marvelous, such a nice place for relaxing.

Karlovy Vary a must - Very nice excursion, unfortunately the guide was very average or not good at all. He didn't feel like being there. The driver was excellent and should be the guide. Karlovy Vary was amazing and I am very happy to have visited it, not having been there would have been a loss for me

Beautiful place - In general we enjoyed the tour We didn’t want to have the lunch that was included because in such a beautiful place it is unpleasant to have lunch in a restaurant that is in the basement of a building without view

Pleasant Tour, but not a must see - Karlovy Vary is a small and beautiful town. But, in my opinion, it is NOT a must see place. It is okay even if you can’t visit this place, especially if you have spent some time in Prague. I would certainly recommend any one to spend a day more in the beautiful Prague than visiting Karlovy Vary where there is nothing much to see other than few Hotels, Spas and Shops.

Beautiful place - The place was very beautiful. Interesting town to visit. The only flaw is the the guide. She is a disappointment as she did not care about her clients at all. She only talk to certain people in the group and left us without direction. Otherwise the town itself is very pretty with lots of story to tell.

disappointment - This is our opinion about the trip to Karlovy Vary, from the moment we were picked up from the hotel, the guide behaved impolitely and uncaringly and looked as if he had woken up from sleep, unshaven, looking dirty, later he picked up a family from another hotel and from that moment on all his translation was in Spanish since the other family was from Spain, we purchased an English speaking tour And not in Spanish, despite a request for an English translation, he did not address our request. In short, we felt like we were being driven by a taxi without guidance, we arrived at Kluviori, and then the guide told us where he would meet us and disappeared for several hours without the tours promised on the trip. In an attempt to convey the complaint to Viator, she shrugged it off and directed us to the operator. The payment and the order were Through Viator without any connection to the operator. We suggest checking and clarifying any purchase from Viator.
